We had reservations for a party of 7 on Saturday night (28-Feb) – celebrating a family member’s birthday. When we arrived at 550pm, the lobby was packed with literally dozens of people, so we anticipated a wait. At approximately 615 after several other parties were seated (including one party of ~20), I asked the hostess where we were in the queue. She mentioned it would be soon – maybe 10-15 more minutes. Around 635, after EVERYONE in the lobby was seated (there’s no way they ALL had reservations – I know this for certain, as I watched several parties come in, give their names, and be taken back before us), I approached the hostess stand and asked again. She said we’d be seated soon. Finally at 645-650, we were seated. It was frustrating seeing others sat before us, and what was the point of making reservations if we had to wait nearly an hour while other parties were prioritized? I’ve worked in restaurants and understand dinner rushes very well. But this was simply poor planning and organization. Thankfully, our server, Alexis was great, and the food was really good. I hope this review prompts a management review on how to handle high volume rushes with reservations, etc.

My server was accommodating, professional and pleasant. The soup was hot and very good. They gave me free cake for my birthday. I brought most of my food home because I was full.

We had a party of 3. Our food was ice cold and had little to no sauce. The waitress was slow and inattentive. Overall a terrible experience.

We stopped in Dover for lunch and decided to visit Olive Garden.
We were seated right away, and a server came to take our beverage order within a few minutes.
We ordered from the lunch menu; a change from what we usually do. This turned out really well. The lunch entree comes with either soup or salad and breadsticks. All of our soups and food came out relatively quickly. Everything came out hot, well-prepared, and very tasty.
Our server was very pleasant and attentive.
We are looking forward to our next visit to Olive Garden in Dover!

Keri was phenomenal. The food is good as usual. We’ve been to many Olive Gardens in various cities and states, but our server Keri was what made the experience superior to others. She was attentive, prompt, and super helpful. She anticipated our needs and met them with a very friendly demeanor.

When we walked in we did have to wait about 5 minutes for our table. Our waiter was awesome. I wish I remembered his name, he told the other table he got back from California 2 days ago, he is the best!! He was very attentive to our table even though he was waiting on many others. Drinks refilled, trash cleared, etc
Our food was very good. The breadsticks came out warm and the salad was very fresh! My son had the chicken gnocchi and it was such a comforting bowl of soup. My dish was the Margherita chicken. The chicken was very moist and the toppings were very fresh and light tasting. My husband had the lasagna and his plate was clean at the end of our dinner. My son ordered the tour of Italy. He loved the lasagna and chicken! The alfredo pasta was a touch overdone but nonetheless tasty
We ordered the black tie mousse cake and oh my gosh it was so good! To top off the night I purchased a cheese grater and was given 2 blocks of parmesan to go with it, how neat?!! I wish there was an Olive Garden in Milford, but for now I’ll make the drive. Great experience!

This is one of our favorite go to places until today. We ordered the Shrimp Misto Fritto and it was salty. As I was eating I noticed a French fry in it. I showed the waitress who stated “you got a free fry” she then laughed and walked off. I ordered the Seafood Alfredo which came out with shrimp only on it. When the waitress brought the correct order out the noodles didn’t taste like what I am use to at Olive Garden. They seemed thick. I was staring my straw in my ice because of no refill of water was offered. By the time the refill was offered we were paying. The waitress did state she would bring me a refill but it never came so my husband gave me the rest of his drink. The manager came to the table as we were leaving to see how things were. I started telling him and he apologized and asked what he could do as we had already paid the bill. Even though this was not the Olive Garden experience we are use to, we will try again.

We arrived around 2:15 PM and did not receive our entrees until 3:20 PM—a full hour wait. Our server said the delay was due to the kitchen. When we spoke with the manager, Heather, her demeanor was shockingly rude and dismissive, as if we were an inconvenience for even asking about our food.
During the conversation, she admitted that our food had been sitting in the window for 18 minutes, which was extremely frustrating to hear after waiting so long. She applied a 25% discount, but it felt like she was just trying to push us off rather than actually acknowledging or caring about the situation. No genuine apology, no empathy—just attitude.
I have never experienced service like this before. Long waits can happen, but the lack of professionalism and basic customer care from management made this experience unacceptable.
