We were very excited to try this place out and really enjoyed trying the seasonal brisket and meatball tagine. My husband loved the creative cold brew coffee options and the horchata was delicious (warning though the serving size for the horchata is very small).

I really loved the persimmon bread dessert. Reminded me of a richer version of my family persimmon bread.

I appreciated that the cost includes the tip as that is how it should be (supporting the staff in the price). We will return to try their changing tasty menu.

Stumbled here during a random Petaluma visit and I was blown away. Rich flavors, thoughtful menu and beverages, friendly service, dog-friendly patio. Everything we had was on point (Meatball Tagine, Sampler Plate, Shakshuka, Cardamom Pistachio Blondie). Wiped out the blondie so fast I didn’t snap a pic. I’d probably drop by weekly if I lived in Petaluma.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the North Bay and may be the best restaurant in Petaluma.

The food is always excellent, as is the service. Additionally, their drinks are amazing, including quite a few coffee drinks unlike anywhere else in town. (We love that Annette (co-owner) usually has txakolina (a Basque white wine) on the menu, as well as several top quality draft beers.)

And although they aren’t open for dinner, they do hold special dinners from time to time and chef Brian (co-owner) always does a bang up job with regards to quality and creativity.

Standout dishes for us include the Cassoulet, brisket, meatballs, picnic plates, bocadillo, and braised lamb, but honestly, you can order anything on the menu and it will be great.

It should be noted that this is one of the rare restaurants where the price on the menu is the price you’ll pay. There is no tipping required because it’s included in the price, and really, they actually discourage adding anything else to the bill.

The brisket was very good. Excellent spices and flavor, and the yams were a perfect match with the eggs and brisket. The meatballs were blain and pretty basic. The owner was curt, uninviting and indifferent. I guess her reviews have gone to her head.

10/10 Best spot in Petaluma. Fresh ingredients and choices aren’t basic. Can’t believe I haven’t reviewed them yet but highly recommend.

Get a drink with an unusual twist and then the brisket! I tried a bunch of things and haven’t been disappointed by any but that BRISKET WOW!

Came back in May 2025. Continues to be outstanding executed food flavor profile is rich taste in depth, but not heavy and healthy. Wine pairing is fantastic. The desserts are to die for. everything on the menu is fantastic so I’m not gonna highlight anything. I will say that I love the service is included in the prices as well, so it makes it easy. And the prices are very reasonable for the quality and the service. Sitting outside on a warm day in Petaluma is paradise. The restaurant faces north, which is perfect on a warm day in Petaluma., Lovely restaurant with wonderful staff. Owner is a delight. Food is excellent.

We had brunch here and was amazed at how well their small staff managed the crowd with humor, decisiveness and competence. The food was delicious- we had the shakshuka, the brisket and the frittata. The coffees were also good. BE Patient. The staff seem to keep a lot of balls in the air but deliver with panache. Also no tipping. The prices are higher but you should mentally deflate the values by the amount of tips you would have left.

Met a friend for lunch on a quiet winter Friday. We enjoyed our skillet frittata and meatball tagine— served hot out of the oven, very unique and tasty flavors; we both asked for warm Wild rice horchata which were so amazingly good, my friend had 2! Some unique Persian mini Bundt cake was fun (and slightly too sweet but I no longer crave sweets). With its attractive modern Mediterranean atmosphere, creative dishes that change daily, and timely service that’s why we’ve been coming here for years.

Good food, although it took a long time to get to us. Wonderful selection of coffee drinks. Love that menu prices are inclusive of tip + fees! Solid brunch spot.

I had the “picnic plate”, which on the menu read like a mezza plate. 2 stale pieces of flat bread, limp cabbage slaw, something that was supposed to be hummus but was more of a mash, tabbouleh with soggy bulgar and some pickled beets (the beets were quite good). For $23 the portions were skimpy and the service is really bad. Some of the other meals looked much better but for a restaurant that comes off as middle eastern you would think they could do a simple mezza plate that didn’t feel like a rip off.
