I recently visited Sombrero Mexico in Amsterdam and had a fantastic experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and lively, with colorful décor and upbeat Latin music that instantly set the mood.
The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The tacos were packed with well-seasoned meat and crisp toppings, and the guacamole tasted homemade and perfectly balanced and the portions were generous without feeling overwhelming. They also offer great vegetarian options, which is a big plus.
The staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to recommend dishes. Service was quick, even though the restaurant was fairly busy.
Overall, Sombrero Mexico is a great spot in Amsterdam for authentic Mexican flavors, good vibes, and reasonable prices. I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone craving Mexican cuisine in the city!

I didn’t have to wait for a table. The staff were accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. I had the fajita dish with chicken, wonderful taste and flavors. One of the largest pops I’ve been able to find in amsterdam or Holland! Would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves Mexican food.

We dined in here, on a short notice reservation for four people. The Argentinian steak with mushroom sauce was fine and the chicken burrito was great. The servers were not easy to communicate and this was unpleasant for us because we had to ask a couple of questions regarding the menu and they were not able to understand clearly. It was very obvious that they did not know their menu too well.

It was very delicious and plenty of food. I had the chimichanga with chicken and it was very tasty. Also the rice which was given as a side dish, was very good.
