Great local spots. Quick and pleasant service. Live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Locals are friendly and before your know it, you’re having white tea shots with them. The steak was tender and prepared perfectly. The red beans were on point! A definite must have. I will definitely be visiting again when in the area.

This was my first time eating at Redbones and it was amazing. I was pleasantly surprised. I got the Boudin balls and usually you can tell when something is frozen and they just pop it in some grease to heat it up but these were freshly made also got the Cajun chicken pasta and it was so creamy it was delicious. I can’t wait to go back and get that again. My friend got the oysters Rockefeller and those were some of the best oysters I’ve had in Tennessee besides at the gulf highly recommended all that I went around 1 o’clock. It wasn’t busy at all and the price wasn’t that bad. I’d say the best time to go between 1 and 2 30

This is one of the best in jackson.
The Catfish here puts on a tuxedo made of southern divine cornmeal, and says, “Y’all ready to be happy?”
The white beans will make ya wonder whose grandma works here??!!
The most delicious margarita is liquid confidence in a salt-rimmed witness protection program.
It tastes like sunshine, bad decisions, and the sudden belief that you could dance if you wanted to. One sip says “I’ll just have one,” the second sip says “Text everyone,” and the third sip is already ordering another margarita without consulting you.
It’s basically a lime-flavored trust fall

This was my first experience at Red Bones. The party room was cold, then it was too warm and then could again.
The salmon was dry and overcooked . The dirty rice had very little flavor , it was terribly dried out. The shrimp appetizer was tasty but the shrimp was overcooked . Overall the food was mediocre . The service was excellent .

Wanted to stay local with no franchise. The lovely people at the Harley dealer sent us here. I’m glad they did! I chose the Catfish Atchafalaya and wifey got the Redbone Steak and Fries. We were both impressed. Our server Natalie was pleasant and friendly.

Drove from Memphis to Jackson for the day. Stopped for lunch and it was fantastic. Gator bites were the best I’ve had in a long time. Cooked perfect! And that Gumbo was so yummy. The staff was great, the place was clean. Will definitely eat here next time we drive up. Enjoy!

The host was amazing. My husband is in crutches and the host went out of his way! He asked which route we preferred to take to the table (stairs or ramp) and he sat us at a table with lots of room, pulling the chairs out for my husband to make room for the crutches and to even prop his leg up if needed! He came by to check on us routinely, even before our waitress arrived (which did not take long). I ordered the banana foster shake 10/10! Bang bang shrimp appetizer 10/10! Gumbo 10/10. We went for lunch in a Tuesday and had extremely fast service. I highly recommend this restaurant for food and/or drinks.

Haven’t been here in awhile, and after tonite, it’ll be a long time till my wife and I come back. Whole meal was awful. My wife ordered Gator Bites and the loaded potato soup. Both were barely warm. Potato soup was huge chunks of potatoes, cheese and no liquid. No broth!. Gator bites were cold, soggy and tasteless. I ordered the fried catfish dinner, and substituted baked potato for fries. Potato was cold and wouldn’t even melt butter. Catfish were thin, pieces, mostly breading, cold and soggy. Coleslaw tasted strange and whit beans were cold, very gummy as if they had scraped the bottom of the pan. Won’t be back if this is the norm!
