Really Kool, retro Elvis, Marilyn Monroe photos. Reminds you of the old silver diner buildings but in shopping plaza. Lots of parking! Plays all the oldies on the radio Soo Kool. Food is really good, had breakfast… The largest omelette I’ve ever had Soo good with onions and peppers! Really fast service not many people in here just before 11am. The portion size is large and the price you cannot beat it under 20$ for all this! IN Tavares! They even have car shows during the week!!!! Handicap friendly,

I love this place! Though I can’t eat everything on the menu due to dietary restrictions, I was able to avoid having dairy, bread, and red meat by having a tuna salad with a side of fries. The best part was that I was able to have romaine lettuce in my salad instead of iceberg just by asking for it! Yay, thanks!!!
The music is fantastic! It’s all of the music I grew up with that my Dad would play. And no one minded that I was singing most of the songs. Sweet!

Food was just ok. Wanted the shrimp po boy but I saw the look from her so I just got the same as my friend to make it easier. I know what it’s like when they have a 10 page menu… best to keep it simple. Mushroom burger was greasy and patty was smashed to oblivion. Tasted alright, but no seasoning on beef patty. Vibe was kinda sketch. Waitress was new and didn’t have a clue and the cook came out with a bully kind of attitude. Fries were good, upsold me the onion rings that they had no special sauce for, they were GROSS… I’ll probably give them one more try since it’s right up the street and the prices aren’t terrible (although they don’t match the listed prices online… if it was the listed price i would not be posting this… but you’re advertising dive-diner prices and then when we get there everything is 4 dollars more… come to think of it that’s probably why the cook was aggro, my friend mentioned that the prices didn’t match and the waitress went and told the cook)
Honestly only wrote this cuz Google asked me. Google is a rabble rouser. I do hope they use this review to realize; either tighten up or lower the cost! Your regulars are only there out of force of habit at this point, do something before you lose them too!

Great service staff Atmosphere Food bland as for over medium got over easy what else is new pre cooked bacon from God knows when potatoes were aight. Stopped in for a late dinner and had the Mama’s Fried Chicken dinner. Server suggested some honey mustard to go to it, which was great. Fries are always great here. Mama’s chicken was great. They have so many different things on the menu, it’s a great place to go if you’re not sure what you feel like eating.

This is a favorite restaurant of ours due to the wide variety of food choices prepared just how we ask and plenty of it! The staff is friendly, professional and accommodating. The 50’s music; checkered floor with red booths; and vintage pictures makes the atmosphere enjoyable! You can’t help but wiggle and giggle to the music. This restaurant accommodated me every night my husband was in Waterman Hospital with a warm welcome and never rushed me out when they were closing. Give them a try and you will be pleasantly surprised.

CIt’s a good old fashion family diner, a real throwback to the 60s. The moment you enter you are transported back in time by the decor.
The food was good but not great. I had fried haddock, broccoli and applesauce. The haddock was good but salty for my taste, however the broccoli was pure mush.
Our appetizer of fried mushrooms was delicious and plentiful. Our server was okay, but seemed a bit distracted. All in all I would recommend that if you are in the area you stop in and give this place a try.
