We dined last night with a party of 10 for my Dad’s birthday! The staff was so accommodating and friendly. They went above and beyond to provide the best service. There was a back room where they seated us so it was nice because we were kind of loud; laughing and talking. The food was amazing and the portions were huge! Definitely recommend this place! Food is amazing! I always come to get to go plates but my fist time eating in and the atmosphere the service is great. Jamie the server is on point. Soon we sat down food was coming drinks were rolling! Def 5 stars. I got the enchiladas beef rice and beans my go to. My wife got the Barria tacos which were awesome! I was jealous… I knew this place was A1 but I didn’t know they would exceed expectations like this!!!!

We went on a monday night and they have tvs for the games
The menu is very big, the dishes are very big, is not 100% like Mexican food but they are very good
Also we ordered margaritas, beer, lemonade, tacos, burrito, guacamole, tamales, etc
The place is big, the restrooms are clean, the people that works there is very kind
They gave to my kids crayons and paper with games.

Fajita taco salad had no lettuce. Asked waiter about it, he said fajita taco salad doesn’t come with lettuce?
Strawberry margarita was very good.
Waiter was ok. But, 3 waitresses standing around at kitchen entrance just looking at us, giggling etc was uncomfortable!

Potent Soul
This is the second time they got me with the “Handheld Burrito”. This is a relatively big burrito, but not the $21.99 burrito promised as quoted “Not one but TWO tortillas are needed to wrap this burrito…” Well, I guess if you order it for take-out you get half of the burrito, but pay full price. The one tortilla that was used is not even full, let alone the a two tortillita sized burrito it is advertised as being. Last time they said it was too big to fit into the container, but remade it and interestingly made it fuller and it fit. They might want to consider cutting it in half if one container is too small rather then short changing their customers.

Don Jose’s is an awesome Mexican food dining experience located just off I-10. The restaurant shows a little age but maintains a gorgeous dining atmosphere. The menu is loaded with all the staples. The food came out super fast and was absolutely amazing. Our waitress (Thalia) was a rockstar and provided the best service we’ve experience in a long time anywhere. She truly was masterful. I cannot rave enough about the experience and the food. We look forward to our next visit. Recommend giving this place a try!!

My husband and I were treated to an amazing dinner. We always go for a Mexican restaurant when traveling and this restaurant was just as goodbetter than the ones in Arizona. Plus the Cozumel fish tacos are just simply sensual to someone who hasn’t had fresh fish in YEARS. Thank you for an amazing first dinner back in Louisiana.

This place is great, we come here often. Prices are pretty good in service is phenomenal. Cute theme as well, though it can be dark at times. Service is pretty great. Food is rather tasty. Nothing like hitting this place up for taco Tuesday. My favorite menu item has to be the fajitas.
