If you hate someone I suggest you take them here. Service was horrible, waitress was rude, rushed us and our server put her ponytail all over our food as she sat it on the table and then left and did not return to check on us for AN HOUR. I had to go LOOK for our server around the giant building to give us the check. Food was also gross. Apart from the hair of our server being on it, food tasted rotten like the cheese they used had spoiled already. Immediately gagged when I tried the Quesito roll and couldn’t finish the plate. When I went to the restroom to throw up, the toilets were disgusting, they have the flush to push ones and were covered in gross spots. Do not go here. Horrible food, horrible staff.

The seafood was tasty but very spicy. Drinks were flavorful but had too much chamoy and Tajín. For a Saturday brunch, the place was calm and casual. The location is pretty hidden away, so get ready to go off the beaten path.
I hear this place is rocking on Friday and Saturday nights! Banda jams hard!
The service is great. Everyone is very attentive and helpful.

The food was incredible! Huge portions!
The drinks were extremely tasty!
The service was phenomenal! From the moment we walked in we were greeted and asked if it was our first time. Our server Sofia was super nice and quick! We even got a complementary chocolate cake for being our first time here.
The manager also approached us and checked in! She mentioned they have a live band from Friday-Sunday evenings till closing. We will have to try that!
For those who really enjoy authentic Mexican sushi this is the place!

It’s really weird. But hey, the Sushi wasn’t half bad; I got sushi with steak. The steak roll. The steak was really rare, I might’ve been able to switch out my option before it was made. I suggest getting medium, but the raw meat wasn’t half bad. I liked it. Again the steak was really rare, and it wasn’t bad. I also ordered wings for my sister. She couldn’t come with me but I got her something.
The service is ok, do have to admit it’s a predominantly Spanish speaking area. The restaurant is a ‘Mexican twist with a very dark Japanese Vibe’. I’m sure it gets “lit” on the weekends but I wouldn’t know I came on a Tuesday night.
So be advised.
I still give the restaurant a 5 star review as I am not judging only criticizing.
I had the feeling of pulling some powdery substance out, because of the music, but I didn’t have anything on me. If someone would’ve given me a ride I’m sure I would’ve drank.
Do I recommend this restaurant, no. Not if you’re going to just have sushi. You must come prepared to drink and eat.
So in those words you should totally try it.
I can’t force you to try it out.
Do leave my jokes aside.
The sushi role was great. Come and speak Spanish and have fun. Come on a week end.
They need to update the prices on the menu so waitresses and waiters get tipped more.

First time at Culichi Town and it was a good experience. At the time that I went there was hardly any people there. The waiter said that normally people eat later on in the evening and on the weekends they have live music. The ambience feels like a club/lounge vibe. I had two micheladas that we’re very good. I ordered a breaded sushi roll it’s one of there most popular rolls. I also had a shrimp cocktail. The juice was okay not the best I’ve had. The service is friendly and fast. I would most definitely come back again but next on the weekend to check out the live music.

We went for lunch with the family and this is definitely more of a going out in the evening with adult friends type of place. There was an inviting bar and lots of booths. The music was loud. When asked they changed it to less explicit and lower volume.
The drink menu showed a number of very decadent looking drinks (alcohol and alcohol free.) We were very tempted but stuck to horchata and lemonade.
The food menu had a wide selection of items. The prices were reasonable based on the portions. The food wasn’t our favorite though – all the rolls had cream cheese and the ceviche was only okay.

I normally don’t do review but the food was horrible and drinking water taste like came from tap sink. Way overpriced and we did not feel good the next day after eating there. Confused about 4 stars they have it must be for the drinks so place should be a night club not a restaurant period.

I initially tried this place in Los Angeles and I fell in love the service the food the atmosphere was amazing so when I found out there was a Houston location I decided to go try it out and I was caught off guard with the fact is nothing like the one is Los Angeles the menu was limited compared to the one in L.A they also didn’t have a physical menu which is fine. The atmosphere was alright not very pleasant looking. Service wise was great could have been better asked the guy a few questions about the menu and he couldn’t give me answer he looked new so I understood. Food was amazing !! They have live music on weekdays is pretty nice gets really loud so if you mind that don’t come on a weekend. They offer to take pictures of you keep in mind is $22 for the picture. Parking is valet only ! Keep that in mind. Food is amazing will definitely be coming back hopefully with a better experience.
