This restaurant is inside a golf club that was some pretty funky decor (not an insult) the design gave me Sea Ranch vibes. View from the dining room is a stunning view of Mount Shasta. Food was good, but not amazing. All the ingredients I ate were fresh, but there wasn’t any ingenuity or anything beyond a very standard golf club dining room meal. Our waiter had full sleeve and neck tattoos, which is not unusual down in la where I live but seemed pretty wild for a Mount Shasta area golf club. Great place to take some pictures with the mountain in the background.

After a long day of hiking in Shasta, we stopped here for dinner and it was such a lovely experience. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, with beautiful views of Mount Shasta that make the meal even more enjoyable. Service was exceptional – quick, attentive, and very effective.
We shared the calamari, a fresh baguette with olive oil, and the flank steak, all of which were flavorful and delicious. The steak in particular was cooked perfectly and very tasty. For dessert we tried the tiramisu, which wasn’t the best, but everything else made up for it. Overall, a wonderful spot to end the day. Highly recommend for the views, the food, and the excellent service!

Tried the Vegan Bean Patty burger really delicious and the Beef Patty- Heavy and filling and tasty!
Their fries are also very crispy and tasted fresh.
Also tried their cocktails which they said is the first week they were offering them, loved the mule!
The fish and chips could have been better!

Food was not just terrible, the server brought the starters and entrée at the same time. Our beer had a thick layer of foam, garlic fries was basically regular fries with minced raw garlic on top. Black bean burger was good. Cajun fries were more crisp than garlic fries. Fish and chips were average, No cole slaw. I wouldn’t go here again

I love dining at Highland House! The view overlooking the golf course and mountain is stunning — the perfect backdrop for a relaxing meal. The food is always delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The wait staff are amazing — friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great food and a beautiful atmosphere!

Came here while on vacation in winter,sat at the bar and was pleasantly surprised. The menu was amazing,the server/bartender was great(I think I heard someone call him Chris?)Food was great. The side salad was beautiful and tasty. Adding beets makes a salad top notch! Had coors light on tap which is a bonus for us. TV’s playing sports and light music playing in the background. The scenery is beautiful. We will be back when we come back this way!

The food, the staff, and the location are all top notch. Whether you’re looking for a burger, pasta, steak, or a cocktail, you won’t be disappointed. My personal favorite is their steak flatbread (trust me, from the chewy, pillowy crust to the tender and juicy steak to the balsamic glaze, it’s prefectly executed, and downright addictive).
