From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a special experience. Dining here for the first time was nothing short of delightful. The service deserves a full five stars—our waiter, Diego, went above and beyond, welcoming us with genuine warmth and treating us like family. It’s rare to find a restaurant that truly embodies care for its guests, but this one does just that. As for the food—absolute perfection, every bite was a chef’s kiss. Highly recommend visiting if you’re looking for not just a meal, but a memorable dining experience!

Myself and 6 co workers went for lunch. Took awhile to get the waiter’s attention to take our orders. 3 of our orders were wrong; mine had beans when I asked for double rice, no beans. 1 had my double rice and no beans. The 3rd, and best 1 – her chicken quesadillas were missing the chicken.
The first 2 corrections came out pretty quick, but my poor co worker basically watched us eat while she waited forever for her replacement.
On the plus side, the waiter failed to charge us for our drinks.
This was my 1st time to Chuy’s in about 8 years, it used to be so good but based on this visit, idk anymore. Not sure that I would return to this location.
Oh. The creamy jalapeño is still sooooo good.

Chuy’s is one of the better Mexican food restaurants in the Houston area. This specific location is very clean and decorative , and the service is welcoming. Our waiter, Derrick, was very friendly and helpful. The prices here are amazing, and you are presented with large portions of delicious food. I ordered the Elvis Presley Memorial Combo, which includes three enchiladas, two tostadas, a crunchy beef taco, and rice and beans. That tasty and filling menu item is only $13.49! Kids are given a free push pop after their meal, something my little brother really enjoys. The bathrooms are clean, but one of the sinks did not work. This minor problem will probably be fixed and has no effect on the overall greatness of this Pasadena Chuy’s.

Man, how have I been missing out on this? My first visit at Chuy’s and I picked the right one. My server was named Branin and he was excellent, very cordial, very helpful, and listened to my ramblings….lol. I ordered the “Big as Yo Face” fajita burrito with 3 of the sauces. Was only able to eat 1/3 of it (I need a nap now) and the Paloma. Absolutely delicious. If you have never tried, you really should! 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend

The salsa was super spicy and it actually messed with the flavor of my meal. The entree itself was sub par. Me and my husband didn’t finish our meal because it lacked flavor. Also, the queso was too spicy. our waiter was great. But that’s about it. We won’t be returning.

I haven’t been to Chuy’s in at least 4-5 yrs.
I used to go often to the College Station, Tx location when I lived there.
My significant other of almost 4 yrs told me she didnt like the enchiladas she got at Chuy’s several years ago and hasnt been back since.
I asked her which enchilada sauce she got because there are several good and distinct flavors to choose from.
I missed going to Chuy’s and we agreed to be open minded and give it another try on her part.
Well we were both impressed with our meal and we willl return soon.
It was as unique & tasty as I remember with their take on Tex-Mex flare.
My significant other was all smiles and asked that we put Chuy’s on our regular restaurant list; I agreed.
The green chile rice was different but pleasant & delicious.
The refried beans were different (red chili powder, bouillon..?) but full bodied & yummy.
My Fire Steak Fajita Enchiladas were different but simply amazing.
My significant other’s Elvis themed Chicken Fried Chicken on a bed of (hatch) green chil sauce was different but delightful.
The prices are very affordable.
The menu is unique.
Not the type of traditional tex mex or mex food we are used to in this area particularly, and they dont claim or try to be, but it does very good with its diverse comingling of spices, chiles & flavors.

The pic of the taco salad on the site looked really good (2nd photo) Unfortunately the one I got (1st photo) didn’t resemble it. The greens were wilted, barely any guacamole and I could literally count the diced tomatoes but the steak fajita was great which is why I gave them 3 stars.
Next time I’ll stick with the entrees.

We recently had dinner here with a group of 12, and it was such an enjoyable evening! From the moment we walked in, the hostess made us feel welcome and quickly found us a great spot that fit our group perfectly.
Our waiter, Branin, was absolutely fantastic. He kept our drinks and chip basket full all night, gave thoughtful recommendations, and never made us feel rushed which made the whole experience relaxed and pleasant.
The restaurant itself was very clean and comfortable, with a nice, inviting atmosphere. I’ll be honest, while the food isn’t exactly our favorite, it was hot, fresh, and arrived quickly, which we really appreciated. The prices are very fair and the portions were on point.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner together thanks to the great service and warm environment. It’s a wonderful place for a casual gathering with friends or family!

Our waitress, Camden, was absolutely wonderful! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. Her positive energy really makes our visit’s to Chuy’s extra enjoyable. We ask for her every time!!

My husband and I shared chicken fajitas and they were delicious! The margaritas, salsa and green sauce was as well! The deco is cute too. If you’ve never tried it before then you should! Every employee was very nice and friendly. We’ll be going back !
