Was my first time visiting the brewery and restaurant. Got there early before the crowds and got a nice outdoor seat. The food and atmosphere were awesome and I was really not expecting the portions and food to be so good. I mean I know they got good beer I mean c’mon Pliny! Great for groups and all ages to enjoy a nice day.

Listen, I love beer and I love pub food. I thought I loved Russian River Brewing. But after going to the source, I think I’ll direct my support to breweries focused more on making good beer and less on squeezing the consumer for profit. Save yourself some money and go somewhere else. Pliny is a classic and you can’t go wrong ordering it. And $7.50 for a 16oz is not a bad price! But the rest of their beer menu felt more like a science experiment than a tasting menu. Ordered the 2.5oz Belgian tasters and didnt really care for 4 out of 5. Ordered the pulled pork sandwich with Pliny fries and was a little disappointed with the price to quality ratio. When I pay nearly $20 for a pulled pork sandwich I expect it to at least have some BBQ sauce on it. When they asked for an extra $5 for their signature fries, I kind of expected a bit more than some melted cheese and a few jalapeños. Price aside, the service and atmosphere left a lot to be desired. It felt more like we were eating at an amusement park cafeteria than a brewpub. Loved the Halloween decor!

One of the best IPAs in the world is brewed at this location. Apart from that a whole host of Porters, Stouts and Sours available alongside decent food options. Located in Santa Rosa and a convenient distance from San Francisco this is a great weekend day trip option.

I have been to the original tap room in downtown Santa Rosa but never made it out to Windsor. This place is amazing and I can’t wait to return for more food and beer.

Beers were of course excellent and the primary reason to come here, but the food is also very good for a brew pup. The aioli on the grilled chicken sandwich can make anything taste delicious! Salad was also fresh and the fries with the sandwich were perfectly fried. Great place to bring the doggos too!

Sat at the bar on a busy day.

Russian River Burger. The best burger I had in ages. All the ingredients were fresh. The bacon was flavorful and fresh. The bun (star of the show) was simple but effective. The bun was thin but durable, lite on the stomach and toasted to perfection. Most places have a thick bun that falls apart but this bun was lite and kept the sandwich together. The sauce and cheese collaborated for a great melody that melts in your mouth. The beef (medium) was cooked to perfection. The lettuce was fresh but ironically not all amazing. 10/10 burger. I will be thinking about this burger forever. The beer was some of the best beer I’ve ever had (as a so-so beer snob). Hopefully I can come back for the Pliny Young when its in season.

The scenery isn’t much but I drove through Napa to get here so I give bonus points on the drive.

I came in on a busy Valentines day. I expect the service would be much better on any other day outside of holidays.

Not much decor inside, but who cares about decor when u want good food and good beer.

Overall I give this place a 9/10 as a first timer on a busy day coming from out of town. Anytime I’m within a 3 hour drive I will absolutely make the trip here again and again.

Please open new locations, preferably next door to me. Detroit.

Russian River is legendary in the beer world, so while Pliny the Younger wasn’t being released, my wife wanted to check out the restaurant side and we decided to stop in.

They seated us right away, which was impressive.

The facility is massive, but interestingly the restaurant portion feels relatively small compared to the size of the building. The experience overall was good but didn’t quite live up to the expectations built by the brewery’s reputation. The tap list was mostly the standard Russian River lineup with only one small-batch option during our visit.

We shared a burger and fries, the burger was solid and the fries were excellent, but the food didn’t stand out as anything memorable.

One big bonus: they offer free EV chargers, which was a really nice surprise and appreciated for travelers.

Worth visiting for the history and reputation, but if you’re chasing unique or experimental beers, you may find fewer surprises than expected. This was more of a one and done stop for us.

Meh. Big fat meh. I really enjoy a lot of different beer styles and flavors and love a really good bitter ipapale, BUT this is just mid. I don’t get the obsession over Pliny. Neither are crushing it in any category except hype. And the space feels like I’m just chilling in a parking lot with the boys. Many many other good breweries out there. Sorry folks.

I have been coming here for many years. It’s different than a lot of the other breweries in the Santa Rosa and Healdsburg areas.
The food is good though pales in comparison to some of the high-end restaurants in Healdsburg.
I usually sit in one of the bar areas. This time I was there as friends, and we sat in a booth. Our server, bree, was really great.
Usually, I have the fish and chips. Today I had the fish tacos. They were really good except for they didn’t have any tomatillo sauce or salsa to go with them. I got a little bit more pico de gallo. And added a few drops of hot sauce.
I don’t like coleslaw so they were nice enough to substitute black beans for the coleslaw.

My only real complaint about this place is that they charge for tastings. Most other breweries around here you can taste this and that and maybe this and then decide what you want to drink. Here they charge roughly $2for every single tasting. Perhaps you can try one thing for free and then if you like it, buy that or something else.

The fact that they don’t give free tastings like a lot of other breweries do is ridiculous for the amount of beer they sell.

The beer here is outstanding! While the interior is spacious but somewhat generic, the exterior grounds are beautiful with a focus on environmental preservation. We recommend grabbing a beer, settling into an Adirondack chair, and soaking in the beauty of the protected wetlands.

Now, back to the beer and food. Start with a flight to discover your favorites, and then enjoy a full pint to savor the hops. Pliny for President and the Elder, and then we have to say Blind Pig is our top pick! For dinner, we enjoyed the schnitzel sandwich, bacon mac and cheese, and garden salad. Everything was fantastic, but the mac cheese is excellent. There is no need for additions (sorry bacon).

As visitors from the East Coast, we later learned that the Santa Rosa location is the original location and should also be visited!
