Fantastic food and incredibly generous portions! We completely underestimated the serving sizes and ended up with enough leftovers for a second meal. The 1/2 rack of beef ribs was absolutely massive, and the chicken wings (we tried two flavors) were spot on. A quick tip on parking: Keep driving around the lot until you see their specific reserved signs; don’t be discouraged by the general ‘no parking’ signs elsewhere!

Friendly service. I would have preferred not to see the disgusting basement area… it made me question the cleanliness. I saw the things we aren’t supposed to see… but pork nachos and flash fried chicken were dripping with flavor.

I came in just before closing and Brian served me. He had a great attitude and was fun to talk to. The chicken wings were the best wings I’ve ever had. The sides were awesome and price was good. I’ll come back again when I am in Louisville. Thanks guys.

First of all, our waitress Myka was amazing! We started by ordering a handful of the “Best Wings Ever,” the name is 100% accurate. Even my husband who is kind of snobby when it comes to wings said they are the best he’s ever had. I had the Blushie to drink, which was as fun and yummy as it sounds. It’s a bourbon slushie. He had Momma’s Old Fashioned which was made with Old Forester Bourbon which is local to the area. For our meal we ordered the Pulled Pork Nachos and the Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese, green beans and cheesy corn for the side. We split both meals and they were both delicious. The servings are large and sadly we weren’t able to finish the nachos but boy were they good. We aren’t local but if we ever come back we will order the wings and split the nachos, and we’d probably still be stuffed. The service was extremely fast, we didn’t wait long at all to get our food after ordering. The restaurant itself has a mom/pop feel inside and is very casual. The parking is a bit different, but follow the signs, it’s in the back of the building.

Brisket was tender but dry with little flavor. Turkey was ok, much like lunchmeat. I am pretty picky on it being from Texas! Pulled pork was pretty good. Side were also good. Pretty much had then all.

Got seated promptly and food arrived hot and fast. Service was excellent. Food is AMAZING!!!! I don’t even eat wings and I ate these. The flavor was to die for. Turkey was very lean and moist. Ate every bit of it. Baked beans hubby had were the first thing he ate. Cannot go wrong trying this place out. Price is excellent for the portion sizes you get. Beer was so so good. Make sure if you are visiting Louisville you make Momma’s a stop for sure.

So I HAD to try a Triple D joint while in Louisville! First of all, everything was very good. I would say the star was the wings. Dry rubbed, smoked, and then fried-they had a very good flavor and were not dried out. They were unbreaded, so for some, they may find the skin “rubbery,” but I found them very good. If you needed a sauce, the three sauces at the table all were a tasty topping for the wings. The vinegar bbq sauce was very flavorful, and the “hot” had a very nice back-end heat. I had a pulled pork slider, and a hot sausage slider, and really enjoyed the hot sausage. My friend had a fried bologna sandwich which he found “okay”, granted we are from IL so that is not a staple in our parts. The cornbread was good, and the homemade pickles(not fried) I found delicious. The only minor disappointment was the baked beans. I was stoked for some homemade baked beans, and they were good but not what I was hoping for. Would I go back? Absolutely! We enjoyed our dinner and would definitely recommend you give them a visit.

Great food. Recommend the fried pickles and most definitely the wings. We had plans to get other things but filled up too fast. Recommend the sliders for sharing a variety of meats!

Came here because we overheard people talking about it many miles away at Mammoth Cave National Park, it did not disappoint.
Taken aback when we first walked in because it looked like more of a sit down place but our food came out very quickly.

Chicken wings were perfectly cooked and very smoky. Added some mustard and hot bbq for the perfect bite. We ordered a few extra (you can order individually for same price) and they came out in like 2 minutes.
Cheesy corn was great and baked beans were full of flavor. Burnt ends also super flavorful and the portion was large. A few pieces of burnt ends were dry but that just meant adding more sauce which was fine.
Only drawback were the pickles being too sweet but that’s a personal preference of mine. Green beans also a little under seasoned but after adding salt and pepper very tasty.
I was also impressed by the whiskey selection. I was there at 2 pm and driving but another time I would sample some of their plentiful stock.
