We went for fish night tonight, and it was incredible! It was so fresh and cooked perfectly. The collard greens were amazing as well!

The pork steak was ok. Way too thick for my liking but fairly good. The potato salad was good but the portion size was too small for the size of pork steak I had. Will try again just not ordering the pork steak again

This wasn’t my favorite BBQ experience, but it wasn’t horrible.
The Good: the sides were delicious. We had the fried okra, onion rings, and a side salad. All were really good and generous portions.
The Ok: the BBQ was just ok. I had the pulled pork nachos. The nachos were ball park style chips and just bland. The pulled pork was overly sweet. It was a generous portion and could have likely fed two people. The same can be said about the pork steak. It was enormous. Definitely consider splitting it.
The Bad: the chicken wings were crispy, but served plain with the sauce on the side. I’ve never had wings like this. The ribs could have been more tender. I felt like they were tough. Lastly, our service was horrible. The waitress seemed like she was annoyed with us every time she had to come to our table. Definitely not welcoming.
I probably won’t be back based on this experience.

Had the best family dinner to go: Big pretzel, potato skins, a lovely half salad with ranch, two pork steak plates with potato salad, baked beans, and green beans. The salad was all fancy field greens with halved grape tomatoes, light shredded cheese and croutons. The ranch was homemade. The pork steaks were tender and covered in a deep, rich smokey-sweet sauce. The baked beans were cooked with chunks of pork and were absolutely delicious. The potato skins were nice and tender, almost sweet, with melted cheddar and heaps of chopped bacon. We are happy and stuffed. He also makes the most flavorful smoked pork and chicken that I buy by the pound to use for Brunswick stew. A++++

We both had the 8 oz. BBQ plate with baked beans. My husband had fries and I had sweet potato fries. The atmosphere was a basic restaurant, not bad, but nothing special. The service was ok, but wish she would’ve checked on us more. Everything was delicious. We didn’t realize it came on a bun, but it was a nice toasted bun and a huge portion! We both really liked the bbq sauce. The beans were very good with a little bit of a kick, but not too much. My sweet potato fries were the best I ever had. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with great sweet potato flavor. We are just passing through, but I would definitely eat here again if I’m in the area.

“Hands down one of the best BBQ joints I’ve been to! The meat is always tender and juicy, whether you go for the ribs, brisket, or pulled pork. The staff are super friendly and polite, making the whole experience feel like a family dinner. The restaurant itself is spotless – can’t complain about the cleanliness! And the portions? OUTRAGEOUS. I very much wanted to love this place. We had full slab of ribs and a pork steak. Ribs were ok at best, a lot of chew . Could not pull the bones apart at all and had to cut them between the bones. Pork steak was almost a disaster. I want to say it was undercooked but I’m not sure what happened. Not even easy to cut with a knife and meat was very pink” hopefully just from being smoked” . The sauce was not baked on but just applied before serving. The sauce was warm and the pork steak almost cold. Our bill was over $50 with one water and one soda.
