Taco Selene in Aurora is the kind of no-frills family joint where the décor is “tables exist” and the tacos do all the talking. I ordered al pastor, asada, and adobada, and every one of them slapped—perfectly seasoned, juicy, and gone way too fast. The salsa bar is homemade, super fresh, and as good as the tacos. And at $2.50 each!? One of the best deals in Denver, full stop. This place is dangerous in the “I might eat here three times a week” kind of way.

Tacos Selene is where you want to go if you want affordable yet tasty tacos and burritos. The tacos are $2.50 a piece and on tuesdays they are $2. Burritos are all $9 with huge portion size. Would definitely recommend Tacos Selene. They also have a salad bar.

Pretty spacious casual local taco shop with self serve sauce bar and soft drink dispenser machine. This is my favorite taco restaurant in Aurora for very affordable and delicious taco Tuesday. Fast food restaurant system to order at the register, they give you a card with number to hang up, and bring food to your table (so not really that much “service”). Green sauce is mild, orange sauce is medium, and brownish red sauce is pretty spicy. Strongly recommend the horchatta as must order drink!

What an amazing little taco place. The AlPastor is wonderful, all of the meats I tried were great, but the Pastor really shone as the best. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful when ordering and the service they provided efficient and prompt. The seating and restaurant itself is basically seat yourself seating with a little visual flair but is otherwise bland. I will definitely be hitting this spot whenever I am in town!

These are hands down the best tacos I have ever had! I can confidently say that Tacos Selene is the closest experience to authentic tacos you can find in Colorado. The place is really popular, and I can see why. The staff are sweet, patient, and incredibly quick. My food came out super fast and hot. The salsa bar adds to the overall experience. I haven’t found anywhere else that offers this unique future. I would recommend Tacos Selene to absolutely anyone!

Highly disappointed for being a top-rated authentic Mexican restaurants.The location I went to was in Aurora off of 6th Ave. Their menu is a la carte style. I ordered two chicken two barbacoa tacos, comes with onions and cilantro. Anything else is extra. Also ordered the sopes. Let’s start with the chicken. NO FLAVOR AT ALL, bland, dry and of course fatty. Barbacoa had a little bit of flavor probably because it was so fatty. Literally my first bite was nothing but fat. The sopes had the same meat with the same problem. The beans on the sopes tasted like they came from a can no flavor at all.
Wasn’t highly satisfied with the service either considering I was first in line but yet I was ignored and the second person was waited on.

Love coming to this place for some authentic street tacos when I’m in the area. It’s got some really good asada tacos. The food is priced fairly in comparison to other places around that up charge a lot for similar food. The service is great! We got there on a Friday right before the lunch hour rush and glad we did because as soon as that time came it got really busy. I definitely recommend this place for tacos! Their salsas are really good as well, however if you’re not into spicy food I’d maybe start a little slow.

Terrific food! I ordered the steak tacos and had a sopes. The meat is packed with flavorful. The sopes had crunch until the last bite. Plus the self serve sauce bar is awesome. Food was delivered in 5 minutes. The price is cheap!!

We will not be back anymore. This place is a hit or miss and lately its been so gross. They dont know how to do tortas. The tacos sometimes are good sometimes burnt to crisp. They put VERY LITTLE MEAT I end up throwing the tortilla away also becuase they are like moist and stuck together. They definetly need to change their provider for the tortilla. Its just not good at all i am surprised this place has good reviews

Just awesome food. Stopped here on the way back to COs from Den airport, best tacos I’ve had in a long time and our order for two was less than $20. My Dad and I got different tacos, 3 each. When they were delivered, she just put the plates down and left. We couldn’t tell what was what or whose was whose…but it was all fantastic.
