I tried this for a late lunch today. I would say the service is somewhat lacking. Server did not come and refill our water, but did ask if everything was okay.
As others have said the portions are very generous and the food is delicious. I would like to mention that they do charge a 4% for using a card. Owner had told me the day before that they would take a local check. They do have a sign up by the front that states “no checks”, but I still feel they should have taken the check since the owner said they would. we had a beef enchilada side of rice, and a “Burrito Lee”. Tasty

This is a gem to get to finally have in this town so be sure to stop at it if you’re driving through. Came here first time for Cinco de Mayo. Food is absolutely fantastic. Salsa is super delicious, best around, will come back just for that alone. Loved the look of the bar. Will definitely be back frequently for some margaritas ! Thank you guys so much for bringing this place here.

Tip when you are ready to pay and leave just walk to to the register and pay there. Don’t wait on them to bring your bill to the table.

shrimp with garlic lemon butter dipping sauce, avocado slices, and a mini taco-salad bowl filled with rice. heavy jar-lic use. excellent chips. hot sauce is chili based, served in a little bowl, definitely helps the salsa. if you’re trying to avoid creamy sauces this is the one. a little on the pricey side, but it is a lot of food for one person so worth it

We ate there twice while staying at the lake this past July. The food was great—good portions. If we lived closer, we would definitely be regulars. Look forward to eating there again next year.

Delicious lunch here today! Food tasted very fresh and prices very reasonable. Extremely generous portions and excellent homemade salsa. Highly recommend their taco salad. The tacos and enchiladas also fantastic. Much needed for Ozark County. Per the server, margaritas and full bar coming very soon.

The food did not taste like Mexican food at all. The beans were super runny, rice was bland and had vegetables in it, chimichanga was super small. Service was horrible and we were only a table of three and only ones there. The hard shell tacos was stale and meet was not good. Steak casadilla had fries in it with steak and white cheese sauce on top. Will never go back.

Stopped in for lunch and had a great experience. Oaxaca rings true with authentic Hispanic culture, you will need to request your check which I appreciate. They have a balance of authentic and Tex-mex. I inquired about ceviche which is not listed on their menu and the server let me know that it wasn’t a problem. I had their Chili Colorado an potion size was to be expected or more for Tex-mex. Prices are in line with current market value in any city throughout the Midwest. There is a small language barrier but that is to be expected at any respectable Hispanic restaurant. That said, I think this is the best restaurant Theodosia has to offer and I have yet to receive better service anywhere else in town.

Good food and reasonably priced. Service is quick and friendly. Had Enchiladas one time and was very good. Another time had Fajitas and had a large portion and did not disappoint
