I started off with entrées, Prawn Spring Rolls and Chive Dumplings. The sauce that came with the Chive Dumplings was absolutely amazing, a must-try for everyone!
For mains, I had Tom Kha Chicken. I requested it without vegetables, and the staff were kind enough to make it that way for me. The soup was so smooth and beautifully rich with coconut flavor. I also tried the Barramundi with Thai herb salad, which I saw was a new dish on their menu. I ordered it mild and it turned out just perfect. Definitely a must for fish lovers. And I had Thai Milk Tea on the side, which paired so well with everything.
The portions were generous, and I was already full… but I just couldn’t resist ending with my go-to snack, the Crispy Chicken
Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re around Brunswick!
They have a very clear and easy to navigate menu, and almost all the mains can be made vegan and gluten free. The satay tofu and Cashew stir fry are two of my girlfriend and my favourites, as well as the coconut rice and Thai milk tea.
Service is excellent, the waitresses are always prompt, attentive, friendly and warm. They give you a button to call them and alternatively you can order through QR code. Prices are incredibly reasonable – it was $50 for a starter, two curries and a large rice. They offer a 5% discount if you pay in cash, as well.
Ambiance leaves something to be desired but it is a lovely spot – warm, comfortable and homely. I appreciate that they play their music low so conversation is easy, even when they are busy, and the lights aren’t overly bright.
The food is definitely worth it, and there is rarely a long wait.
Food was very delicious and filling. Meals were also very affordable.
This place could be thriving with some better lighting and more Thai decorations, which would be a great addition to the existing murals painted on the walls.
Overall, a great place to get some takeaway thai food and have a positive dine in experience.
I do however think that the portion size is small. We definitely did not leave as full as we’d expected. Mains were more entree size.
Service: pretty on point, friendly and attentive. Also the food came out quite quickly (though they weren’t overall busy).
I do wish they did their food prep in the kitchen, as there was someone doing it in the restaurant.
Venue: cute & small. Some cool art on the walls.
No outdoor seating which is a shame.
Overall, cute place. Wouldn’t go out of my way for it.
I particularly liked the bell on our table to alert staff if we required assistance. Much better than hovering waitstaff and allows the staff to get on with work in the kitchen without feeling like we’ve been abandoned.
Has the vibe you’re after if you want authenticity.
Very friendly service.
Portion sizes were rather healthy.
Will be coming back.
Ordered Tom kha, crying tiger & pad kee Mao.
My friends and i are completley sold! we love it!
