This place has amazing TACOS.
I stopped by to grab a bite, so I ordered 3 STEAK TACOS. They were huge and tasteful, I was thinking to order more, but when I finished them I was full.
Also they received you with CHIPAS AND SALSA. The SALSA VERDE its really good, and not that hot so you can really enjoy it.
The SALSA ROJA from the plastic bottle it’s really good and spicy. But the SALSA ROJA from the litle bowl its flavorless.
Overall the place its clean and service it is great.

Never been in the area before and looked up Mexican food nearby and chose this place based on the reviews and they did not disappoint! They forgot my friends onion & cilantro she asked for but brought her a plate instead! She was thrilled. The chicken was seasoned and juicy but not soupy, everything was fresh, the guac was to die for, the service was attentive and extremely accommodating. The place is also super cute and clean! Would definitely recommend whenever in the area again 🙂

Two steak burritos, one chips and guacamole $31 after tax. The burritos are big!! They make the guacamole fresh you can customize it. I would just recommend salt added to it and lime. The chips are also fresh. I am pleased with the order thank you so much!!

I was going out with some friends around the area and we stumbled on this restaurant when we were deciding where to eat.The food was amazing, the waiters were really nice as well! I had the steak taco dinner and everything was prepared nice and fresh. The tacos are priced fair as well, this restaurant serves a bigger portion of meat on tacos at a cheaper price compared to other taco places ! Definitely would recommend this to anyone looking to enjoy a delicious dinner !

These tacos rival the best you could find in Pilsen. Upon first bite, I was shocked I had never heard of Tacos Don Luis. They were phenomenal. I was especially impressed by all of the flavor in the Al pastor. Even the table side salsa was insanely good.

I’m sending friends, family, even enemies to this exceptional taco joint that opened last December. Do yourself a favor and drive, run, hop, skip, do whatever it takes to get here as soon as you possibly can.

This is hands down the best local place for tacos in the Palos Hills/Hickory Hills area! Their food is the freshest and most flavorful out of anywhere I’ve tried locally. I’ve been coming here since they opened, and their staff is always so incredibly kind, even throwing in some extra salsas for us to try based on our taste/heat preference. Their takeout service is fast, their portions are generous, and it feels good to support a local business that cares about their food quality and customers. I hope to support them for many years to come!

Burrito is greasy style loaded with dry meat. Think Summit IL burrito style. It is huge like a giant rectangle more flat than round. (Steak, tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream beans) – Ratios way off almost nothing but meat.
Ate half and was just too disgusted as fatty dry price of meat.

If mexican places knew how to cut fat off meat prior to chopping much less customers complaining. It legit takes almost no time. We dont they? Save money but leaving fat on the meat so it doesnt dry as they dont sell enough.
Irony being in Mexico never once got fatty steak yet

Red sauce is more Chipotle not typical red sauce. Green sauce was sour and not done right. Tasted like not right amount of salt added before fridge in batch or a day past its prime.

Chips and sala….salsa onions too small but good if you are someone who doesnt like chunky salsa. Lots of girls would like it this way. But its not bad just not great good kick.

(Big issue chips stale as hell – purchased some chips to dip on way home because they were that bad.

My bill was $19 for the price its not outrageous but when chips are stale and steak burrito is lousy….no thanks

*New ownership – wasn’t good before and ironically just as bad now.*

Resteraunt is cleaner now than before but thats really only thing good I can say. Menu is tiny and no sides other than chips. Did not see any desserts either.

Feel semi ripped off but more annoyed by how bad that burrito was. Every bite was just beans and dry steak. First bite was a crunchy dry price of steak like welcome to our restaurant.

The amount of oil from burrito was insane be aware if you try eating this in your car bad idea. I ate mine at home luckily but burritos can be a to food.

Don’t get me wrong this is better than someone going to taco bell but versus all other Mexican restaurants in the area…..neh all suck here. Imagine these mom and pop shops learn how to cut steak lol

I’ve been coming to this restaurant since just a few months after it opened, and it’s been my number one spot for delicious, authentic Mexican food ever since. I absolutely love this place! I’ve tried almost everything on the menu, and it never disappoints. Even though I live about 15 minutes away, I always make the trip—it’s 100% worth it. The food is full of flavor from the first bite to the last, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. Jennifer is always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. I even hired them to cater an event, and they did an amazing job—everyone loved the food!
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for real Mexican food and great service. You won’t be disappointed

The food here is delicious, fresh and authentic! The salsas are amazing and the place is super clean. Our family had steak tacos, a burrito, enchiladas and taco salad bowl and let me say everything was excellent. The staff and service was exceptional! Don’t miss out and go try their menu, you will not regret it.
