This spot popped up when I searched “Asian food” on Google Maps. It had a bunch of great reviews, so of course we had to try it. We ordered the TN Tonkotsu Shio ramen and the Szechuan Miso ramen. OMG SO GOOD!! My bf and I agreed there was a bit too much sodium but considering we cleaned our bowls, clearly it was not overloaded with salt and it was still enjoyable. Take away a pinch of salt, and the flavor is on par with some of the best ramen I’ve had in the Bay Area, and the quality was great as well. The service was prompt and the restaurant itself was clean and welcoming. The reviews are right. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend this spot!

Love otaku ramen; not only for their food, but also for their service. They are always very thoughtful and make you feel confortable. They are very well staff, the place is always clean and like I said, I think they do a very good job training their staff. Dumpling will always be my favorite but also the soup my boyfriend good was so good that day. I don’t remember the name but I know it was a vegetarian option and he just added the pork chop. I highly recommend it.

It’s really unfortunate that I’m writing this. I enjoy coming here with my boyfriend and we genuinely like the food when we are dining in at the restaurant.
That being said, we have recently ordered it to go to have at home. We soon realized that there was not enough broth to cover the noodles, so figured the next time we would just ask to buy an extra container. When we came in to do that, I was told there was no possible way to order more broth – even if I paid for it. It’s a complete rip off considering it is not cheap to begin with and then the to go containers are too small of an amount. There needs to be bigger containers or an option to be able to purchase more broth.
The last order was also completely wrong. It was written right on the tag but the kitchen didn’t follow the order. We asked for miso chicken in addition to the pork belly for both bowls (which costs extra) and they omitted the pork belly. They added eggs to the bowl that specifically said no eggs and added Serranos to both bowls when it was only supposed to be in one. It’s sad because I want to support a restaurant that’s in my neighborhood but we will no longer come here – we’ll choose another ramen place to go to instead. Picture below cost me $25.45…

Food was great. Atmosphere was nice. The only issue I had (that had nothing to do with the food) is the fact that an employee was in the bathroom for 15 minutes. I stood there and waited between 2 single stall bathrooms. Now, it’s none of my business what’s going on with other people in their private time, but I was a little peeved. I walked all the way there to eat and I couldn’t sit and order or look at the menu yet because of this.

Otaku Ramen is my go‑to spot for affordable, spicy, convenient, delicious and authentic ramen. Top 3 things I loved: 1) Affordable prices 2) Flavorful spicy broth 3) Fast and convenient service. I often find it when searching for ramen near me and the authentic Japanese restaurant vibe makes it feel like the best ramen in town. I also appreciate the easy ramen delivery option. Highly recommend!

Nice little ramen shop.
Service and atmosphere was excellent. I had the “Tennessee” tonkotsu ramen. What seemed to set it apart was a pork patty cooked much like a hamburger. It was delicious—a touch salty, but that blended well with the soup. The broth was flavor and the straight ramen noodles were cooked perfectly.
A good stop if you are looking for ramen in Nashville.

This is the best takeaway ramen I’ve ever seen, with the ingredients kept separate + colouring + ramen chopsticks. I wish your establishment every success. You’ve really described your values correctly on the website.

Otaku is the best ramen place in Nashville! The ramen is really good, I’d say the best Boba is the Taro. They added the Hot Chicken Ramen, it was sooooo good. Only thing is, it’s very spicy. if I got it again I’d ask for the broth to just be regular miso.

Not Good Ramen! This ramen is the worst my husband and I have ever had mind you we’ve tried ramen shops from the Tampa Bay Area, Clarksville, and Nashville probably over 10 different shops. Store bought ramen is literally better than this the noodles were awful clumped together as a brick of sadness with bad texture the veggie broth is decent but they forgot the spicy tofu and cauliflower that I payed extra for. He got TN Tonkatsu shoyu and it’s just sad we paid for xtra pork and he said it tasted bad and had a slimy texture. Go elsewhere forreal especially for the portion sizes and you get a togo container charge which is ridiculous I’ve never gotten that charge elsewhere. They also forgot my bok choy as well.

Delicious ramen. Got the hot chicken ramen and it was wonderful. The server recommended the original boba and it was also wonderful. Excellent service. Would come back in a heartbeat.
