I’ve been to several Jake’s Burgers and Beer locations, and they’ve consistently delivered solid, satisfying meals, so when we were looking for a quick bite in Mansfield, the choice was easy – we were all in agreement.
The atmosphere was just what you’d expect from Jake’s – casual, welcoming, and comfortable. Lance, our waiter, did a very nice job taking care of us. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything we needed was handled promptly.
Visually, everything looked great. The presentation was clean and appealing, and the salad greens were especially fresh and vibrant – a small detail that made a strong first impression.
Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to expectations this time around. The burgers, typically the star of the show at Jake’s, were shockingly bland. I ordered the burger salad, and the beef tasted as if it had been reheated – lacking the juicy, flavorful bite I’ve come to expect. It was a letdown, especially given my positive experiences at other locations.
I’m hoping this was just an off day for the kitchen. While the service and ambiance were on point, the food fell short. I’ll definitely give Jake’s another try – just not in a hurry to return to the Mansfield location.

My first visit to Jake’s. This facility location is nice and easy to get to and plenty of room. My Hickory Burger was less than amazing, it’s probably a 2 star burger at best. Mine was dry, meat and light on sauce. The menu looks good so I’d like to try another burger or two. Not marked off my list, but not tops either. They do have other menu items that look tasty, so I’ll try those as well.

Location was easy to find, right off 360. Stopped by for late lunch, sat at the bar. Didn’t take long for drinks and food to come out. Everything tasted great, not dry seasoned well. Would recommend.

Been here a couple of times and both were satisfying.
Waitors were prompt, easy-going, and pleasent.
It is a generally clean place as well – as clean as these places usually are.
Food was good – typical bar food. Lots of selections for burgers, salads, drinks. I’ve only had their wings and they’re fine.
If you are itching for some quick and easy bar food in the Mansfield area and want a cozy little spot to hang for a bit, Jake’s will provide.

Raved about it so much that I finally brought the whole family next time we were in the area and guess what… they all loved it as much as I do!!
Wife and kids all got something different and they loved what they ordered. What they couldn’t eat, they took home in a Togo box.
Our server, Tanner, was spectacular and made sure we had everything we needed including making a few suggestions. The vibe is always casual and fun. A couple TVs had a game we wanted to watch so that made it great!
No additional pictures this time but we did order some new items that were a hit… deep fried mushrooms, breakfast burger,
buffalo chicken sandwich, and blue cheese burger.

The food was amazing! It was our first visit here. Laina was nice and attentive.. The portions were huge and we couldn’t finish anything. Highly recommend and glad we stopped in. We will be back!!! We only have photos of leftovers lol???

Our waitress, Julia c, was absolutely amazing. Had some good recommendations. Her service was on point. Keep our drinks filled. She’s very polite and did an awesome job, and on top of it, the food was absolutely amazing, from the burgers to the sweet potato fries. To the bottle caps and the fried pickles. It was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be going back

The new winter menu is so good. The grilled cheese and tomato soup was perfect for this rainy evening. Emily was a fantastic server! Everything came out so quickly. We will be back!
