Bier Central is het Walhalla voor echte bierliefhebbers. Meer dan 300 bieren op de fles en 33 op de tap. Dit is niet gewoon een biercafé, alles straalt hier vakmanschap en passie voor bier uit; van het uitgebreide aanbod, het interieur tot de bediening. Het opmerkelijke is ook dat alles gebonden is aan België: op het menu staan enkel typisch Belgische gerechten en ook in de Bierencyclopedie zal je geen enkel internationaal bier terugvinden. Wij, Belgen, zijn al jaar en dag gekend voor onze biercultuur en bij Bier Central zijn we hier dan ook enorm trots op.

It was our fourth time there as tourists, the food is great but only four stars due to waiting time to receive the food and some minor cleaness issues of the place. But that put aside, the waiters are nice, and they give recommendations for the beer tasting based on your likings. The design of the place is nice too. We hope to be back soon:)

Only one sat outside on a quiet Sunday noon. Excellent selection of beers. Very informative menu/magazine. Option to order via QR code is always a bonus when you can’t speak the native tongue. However be prepared to pay a premium for beer as with everywhere in Gent

September 2025: Balletjes in tomatensaus met frieten, en Curry van zoete aardappel . Meatballs in tomato sauce and Sweet potato curry. They were both delicious. Top marks for the food. Loved the atmosphere and decor of the whole place. Fantastic selection of craft beers/craft ales/ Belgian beers. Downstairs was where all the barrels were stored. Great to see. Toilets however were disgusting, full or fruit flies and needed a good clean. Apart from that, well worth a visit to Bier Central. Not the cheapest establishment, but the food was outstanding!

Quality of food was very good and the service was welcome but a bit slower than expected during the busy hour. Decoration inside and specially the underground is very interesting. Different types of beer are available to order through a catalogue.
