enjoyed this!! I like Korean food so this was a fun place to try. it’s a small business, we had to wait about 20-30 minutes for our food but there seemed to be only one chef in the back and there were several families ordering. but our food was great.

I’m glad that they decided to extend their hours. They used to close before 5 pm and that was vexing. We came here for a late lunch. If you got a 30 min or hour lunch break, then this place is great for that. Service was fine. Food was good. We got a variety. Some of the ingredients are no longer on the current menu fyi. Prices are reasonable. There is parking but they share it with other places next door.
-pork cutlet tong bop 5/5 – this one is my favorite. It’s like a burrito and that crunch was perfect.
-bulgogi kimbop 5/5
-fried chicken kbop 5/5

The food was great and tasty! Lot’s of flavor and did not disappoint! Prices were reasonable and fair. Although the building was kinda warm inside, it had nice decor and was clean. Would recommend if you want tasty Korean food.

This restaurant has the best rose tteokbokki I’ve ever had! The bulgogi and ramen are also delicious! The staff is very patient and will guide you through your menu selections. If you don’t like your food too spicy, they will also adjust it to your liking. Very cute spot. Wonderful for date night.

I ate this so fast, I forgot that I took pictures. I finally made it after almost a year. My goodness, I will never eat Gimbop any other way. This Gimbop changed my world hahaha.
My order:
Spicy pork Gimbop
Pork cutlet Gimbop.
Wow, the meat itself was bursting with flavor on its own. Each dish was worth more than I paid. I say that based of quality. With such high quality food, i orag this place has an abundance of business. The best Gimbop I’ve ever had. I’ll be ordering the same each time. Wow!
I took pictures covered and uncovered.
I might as well dined in…I ate so fast in the car hahaha.
The host was kind, generous, very sweet and the atmosphere was warm and a place you just want to eat and enjoy!!!

I would highly recommend it to people who enjoy Korean food. Especially the Korean sushi rolls (kimbob) are of really high quality. The owner is also very kind. I think I will come here often.

Delicious food and great service. We dined in, but most of it it’s fairly easy to takeout as well. We were visiting from a couple states over and found this area of Milwaukee Avenue with several Korean restaurants and this was our choice for the night.

Sometimes simple street food are the best way to get to experience a culture and K-Bop is just the place.
K-Bop, Korean street rice cup. Love the concept and the flavors and mixture and ingredients for K-2. Jaeyook Bop Spicy Pork Bop are 5/5!! Another bowl Plz!
T-3 Pork CutletTong-bop, seaweed based rice roll. This was a little underwhelming. It was good but there just wasn’t much flavors in this roll making it quite pedestrian.

K-2 Spicy Pork Bop
If you like spicy, this dish is for you. Overall it’s good. There’s rice topped with pork, corn, rice noodles, carrots, and greens. The only thing is it tastes sweet when you eat it all together. Rice is sweet, corn is sweet, and pork has a glazed spicy very sweet sauce. Would I get it again? Maybe. They have a variety of options so I’d try something else next time.
The staff is very friendly and treated us amazing !

We were really excited to try this place out…tried the soondae, ttukboki, donkatsu kimbop, salmon tongbap, and spicy pork cup bap. Spicy cup bap was good but didn’t have noodles as advertised in pictures, and donkatsu kimbop was just okay. I wouldn’t recommend getting the other three. They use flour based dduk, not rice, overcooked and only had 2 small pieces odeng in the ddukboki. It was also very soup-y. Salmon tongbop lacked flavor/sauce- rice was too mushy, and the stale, fried and oily flakes were over the top. It was hard to eat as the salmon pieces were thick and long. It also had way too much cabbage. The soondae fell apart immediately when I tried to pick up one. It didn’t taste fresh at all. Tasted like they used the microwave to heat it up for way too long- it was oddly a bit sweet with some kind of white sauce drizzled on top and had a bad smell, too- fail for soondae. If you want to be disappointed like us, try it for yourself. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend.
