So Waffle House is going out of business because places like this exist. Great country feel with a genuinely nice staff.

Me and my wife ate here for breakfast on Saturday 9/20/25 and Lunch on 9/21/25 and let me say this place is AMAZING!! The food was DELICIOUS, the staff was VERY FRIENDLY and did their jobs well, and all in all one of the BEST restaurants in the Shoals area! Looking forward to coming to eat here again!!

I can’t say enough about this local restaurant. I’m up for business and a friend recommended this place. Went for breakfast and wow!! The menu has all the good old fashioned food that you would get at grandma’s. I had to try the tomato gravy and yep, they hit it on the head! The staff was wonderful and the feel of the place just made you feel at home. 10 out of 10 and will be back for sure!! Eat and shop local. It’s worth it!

Country fried steak swimming in gravy, fried pork chops, purple hull peas, turnip greens all perfectly cooked and seasoned. If your mouth isn’t watering yet there is no south in your soul. The portions are huge, at lunch there are daily specials that include food, drink, three sides and a roll or corn bread at a very reasonable price. There are also great menu specials. They start serving breakfast at 6:30 a.m. The food is wonderful, service is good and the number of locals who regularly dine there is a sign that things are done right.

Do not waste your time here. We waited over two hours for our food and when it came out it was ice cold. There is absolutely no way that the meats stayed above 140 degrees which is standard for servsafe. I felt very disappointed after seeing the good reviews about this restaurant and being served cold/unsafe food. If I were you i would not waste my time here. Also, the staff is very unorganized in every way. Please close the doors to this restaurant before you seriously hurt someone.

Food was outstanding, we went around 10:30 and they had several empty seats. Took the staff at least 5 mins to even come to us and they weren’t busy. Every time someone brought us something it was someone different. I had to ask for a refill but the food made up for it.

Read good reviews so we stopped while traveling. The food was just ok. Good fried okra, and fish. Believe it or not, the mashed potatoes are instant, we asked. After receiving our meals no one EVER came back. We had to go ask for our checks then found out we actually had 2 servers in charge of our table who we never saw. Not a place we’d return to

Waited over an hour for our food, only to receive it after being there an hour an a half, to pay $30 for take out, to then have to wait in line to pay for our wasted time. We had to get our own refills. What a waste of $ and time. And the flippant attitude when answering the question if everything was OK with our visit did it in… please don’t make the same mistake we did
