Typical Steak N Shake here! Come get a fantastic frisco melt. I added bacon and wasn’t disappointed at all. Very nice young lady taking the orders in the drive through making sure you get exactly what you want. I would definitely come back to this location

I don’t know if it’s corporate or a management decision at this particular store, I have been dinning their for years. They have changed the way servers work. Our waitress was way too concerned with visiting with other staff, two larger tables that came in after us were fed before us we had a very basic single burger order. the cook had to finally holler at staff to deliver our almost room temp burgers and cold fries not by our server by the way, and she ignored us to the point where we stood up and waited for her to finally take our payment not impressed at all their model is to prebus and get them out quickly but then did away with cashier and helping eachother provide fast service what gives? Not having a checkout and waiting for our busy server to make another trip and take our payment adds a lot of wasted time. Taking payments at the table is fine but should not be mandatory. Just to give some perspective I have co managed a very successful restaurant for over ten years and ran a fast food joint for over five years. Used to love the speed and service at this location not impressed with this change.

Lets play a game, shall we? The next time I wait for a while at the window for just a burger and fry, then they tell me to pull around to wait longer (all because you have some stupid timer that makes it look like their getting cars through with food which their not) also with only two cars in the parking lot, no one but me in the drive through, I am going to wait till the crappiest weather and order, then pull to the farthest end of the lot. When I see the workers in there 4 to 5 huddled up laughing, joking and slapping each other on the shoulder, that tells me that MANAGEMENT is lacking, I own two businesses and that would not fly. If you were busy and slammed at drive through, I would understand.

One of the best steak n shakes ive been to. Being served and having your order taken. All the other ones i go to is kiosk only. Kimberly was awesome too. She seemed like she wanted to be there.

I walked in and went to the bar. The girl behind the bar asked if I was there for door dash, no. Then she asked if was there for a to go, no. I wanted to sit there at the bar and dine in. She said someone would be right with me. Another couple came in and sat next to me at the bar. They wanted a to go order. She took their order right away and sent it in before my server even came to greet me. Not sure why she didnt ask if I was ready to order or at least get me a drink. The girl working the grill had the pan of burgers sitting on the counter for most of my time there. Not in the cooler or in the cold well. I almost asked her to put a biotherm in the burgers to see what the temps were. My server came got my order and my drink. Food showed up and it was good. I ate every bit of it. Cashed out and left. It was not a great experience but was not a bad one.

Walking in, I was expecting another fast food chain restaurant but was pleasantly surprised by the sit-down atmosphere. We were seated quickly despite the place being busy. Prices felt very good (possibly because we were comparing them to sit down restaurants) and are good compared to other burger joints. I got the garlic burger and my wife got the regular burger and both were great. Possibly some of the best chain burgers we’ve had in a long time. Definitely will be coming back.
