I had never eaten at a Perkins before, so this was my first experience and I was pleasantly surprised. Both the restaurant and its restrooms were very clean and we’ll kept.
All of the staff were professional and polite, while being personable and expeditious. My bottom had not even warmed my seat yet and I was enjoying a fresh cup of hot coffee.
My food was delivered to my table sooner than I had expected, was cooked to perfection and scrumptious. I had the Avocado Eggs Benedict and highly recommend them. Portions were generous.
If I had any criticism, it’s only a matter of preference. I was craving corned beef hash as I went in, but Perkins does not have it on the menu. Also, if you are a hot sauce connoisseur, you may want to bring your own. Perkins only has Frank’s Red Hot, which is bottom of the line, vinegar overload, in my opinion. But most restaurants carry Frank’s, so I should have came prepared.
I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast and will return myself.

Peak restaurant… I got the steak and pepper skillet which was very good and filling. My girlfriend got a breakfast which she liked as well. The service was good, but it was late so people were scarce. I wouldn’t be able to determine if the service would be good when packed, but the waitress was kind and did her job well. Good vibe!

Easily a 5-star experience. The music was actually really good — just the right vibe for a relaxing meal. The coffee was fresh and had that perfect, strong-but-smooth taste. Our food was delicious — the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the hash browns were crispy and seasoned just right. On top of that, our server, Kiana, was awesome — super friendly and made us feel really welcome without hovering. Honestly, this place just hits the spot if you want a good meal and a comfortable atmosphere in Wheeling

I love Perkins. The are none near me so, when I travel if I see one I stop. We were at a hockey tournament in Wheeling,WV and stopped by after the last game. Several of the player’s and their families came too. The staff were so accommodating as our party grew. The managed to seat us all together. The food was great. We ordered from all parts of the menu. Highly recommend

Have always wanted to try eating here…but sadly a very disappointing experience. The service was truly awful. Went for breakfast and it wasn’t very busy but spent 1 hour there for a table of 2. The server checked on us once and our food came on very hot plates, meaning they had been sitting for a while. Overall the food was good, but the atmosphere wasn’t great. Sticky tables and had an odd smell. The woman who seated us was very nice. Would skip this spot.
