Amazing restaurant!

The food was very delicious, especially the Flamed Sea Bream. The menu had a great variety dishes that all packed a great punch in flavour!

The service in the restaurant was really good. The staff were very attentive and provided strong recommendations for food and drinks, and overall, made me feel very welcomed!

I would strongly recommend Burnt Orange for future trips to Brighton.

The veggie dishes were much better than the meat/fish ones, with some great flavour combinations. The sea bream with mango sauce was tasty, but the calamari was so underwhelming, probably the most average calamari I’ve ever had.

That said, the decor was nice and the staff were very welcoming.

Overall, was nice to try as a one off, but I don’t think I’ll be rushing to come back any time soon

This was our first time visiting Brighton and Burnt Orange was recommended to us. We had the most delicious meal – every dish had unique flavours and came well-presented. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly and was very knowledgeable about both the food and wine. As we paid for the bill, a new waitress took our payment and when discovering it was my birthday, made me feel very special by bringing me a delicious limoncello on the house. It was a really lovely touch at the end of a spectacular meal. All the food was delicious but our favourites were the lamb cigars, parsnips and cauliflower.

A very interesting and enjoyable meal. Great flavour combination, attractively presented. Mainly vegetarian with a few meat and fish dishes. Very good service which included the explanation of how the menus worked. Small plates making up a large meal.. A great range of cocktails.

I came to Brighton for a bit of a writer’s staycation/retreat and chanced upon this charming restaurant. I enquired about a table for one and lovely Will got me one at the bar – watching the open kitchen. It was wonderful. The staff are all so friendly and warm. The miso aubergine is amazing. But can we all take a moment for the Burnt orange signature martini as rec’d by Vic – I mean IS there a smoother martini ever? I don’t think so. Dining alone can feel lonely or like – look at the sad old lady at the bar kinda experience and Kirsty was so great at seating me and welcoming me. Gosh you lot are very lovely. I’m coming back with my husband. He would love it! Thank you – a perfect dinner x

Delicious food and lush cocktails. The servers were so lovely and friendly. The food came quickly. I ordered three dishes which I enjoyed, but the winner for me was the pan fried mackerel. The atmosphere was very cool. Although it was busy, yet it wasn’t noisy. People were just happy and looked like they were enjoying their meals. I would definitely go back.

The Burnt Orange absolutely lived up to the hype. From start to finish the experience was outstanding. The food was next level – every dish had immense flavour, perfectly balanced and cooked with real care. You can tell a lot of thought goes into the menu, because nothing felt standard or predictable, it all had a twist that made it exciting.

The restaurant itself is stunning. Beautifully decorated, with a warm and stylish vibe that makes you want to settle in and stay for hours. It manages to feel both polished and relaxed at the same time.

The staff deserve a mention too. They were exceptional, super friendly, attentive without hovering, and just really easy to get along with. It honestly felt like being looked after by your mates, which made the night even more enjoyable.

And the cocktails… wow!! Every one I tried was mind blowing, both in presentation and taste. Easily some of the best I’ve had in Brighton.

Simply wonderful. The food, staff and atmosphere were flawless.

We sat at the counter seating which gave a wonderful view of the kitchen and bar, which was immersive and entertaining especially as a party of two.

We opted for the vegetarian set menu which was a fabulous way of trying most of the menu. Our standout dishes were the parsnips and the aubergine hummus! The merry margarita may have been the best cocktail we’ve ever tried.

Will definitely be back soon especially for the next menu.

We had the ‘tasting menu experience’ – such good value and every mouthful was gorgeous. Each little dish was perfectly delicious. The only problem was we ate it all too quickly which meant it was over too soon! Plus Burnt Orange stocks the best 0% alcohol sparkling wine we have ever tasted!
