My husband and I went in for a breakfast date, and the experience was a mix of good and not-so-good. Our server, Darlene C, was an older woman who moved a bit slower. She wasn’t rude, but she wasn’t very warm or engaging either. For the place to be so empty, we really expected better service. Throughout the visit, the kitchen alarm kept going off, which made the atmosphere feel chaotic. I also overheard customers complaining about dirty dishes, and overall the restaurant feels outdated.
My food itself was pretty good, but the caramel iced coffee was not—I couldn’t drink it. My husband’s order was made incorrectly, and the corrected plate took so long that the rest of our food was cold by the time it came out.
We had to make some adjustments to our receipt, and Darlene C was gracious enough to remove the coffee and a few other items with help from a coworker, which we appreciated. Despite the issues, we still left her a tip.
Overall, the visit had some positives, but the service, atmosphere, and overall consistency definitely need improvement.

As you walk in the smell of marijuana is so strong that makes you sick, the service is horrible and slow, we asked for plates for our appetizer and they gave us aluminum disposable to go trays, apparently they didn’t want to clean dishes. The food took forever to come out and it was lukewarm however it was pretty tasty.

Was traveling from NC up to CT and ordered from this Denny’s at around 11pm on a Thursday night.
The ‘brisket melt’ I got via a Takeout order at this Denny’s was the worst meal I’ve ever ordered in any establishment, anywhere, ever. There were only three pieces of brisket, all of which were tougher than shoemaker’s leather. I’ll let the rest of the sandwich in the photo speak for itself. Needless to say, I wouldn’t recommend eating here based on this meal.

I hope Dennys never closes, the pancakes, slams, Hasbrowns, big omelets, they’re all sooooo good. Don’t let the quiet of the place scare you away, just needs more advertising or something bc the food is always fresh, hot, and presented well.

The only con was the women’s restroom. Although it wasn’t dirty, there was a very strong and pungent odor in the stalls. I believe it might have been the odor from the water but I’m not entirely sure. Other than that, the place was great!

Craftsman CTFL
We stopped in for lunch, although I ordered the steak and eggs breakfast. Everything was good, especially the shredded hash browns, a famous dish at Denny’s. For all I got, the price was very reasonable. The server, Shawn, was friendly and efficient and had a lot of enthusiasm. The decor is a bit dated, but that added to the diner-type atmosphere. Overall, quite a good experience.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. The interior is falling apart and looks like a trap house. There is a foul odor lingering throughout the dining area, and the hygiene of the staff is non-existent. Between the smell and the sketchy atmosphere in the back, it’s clear they aren’t following basic health standards. Save your money and your health—this place is a nightmare.

Local conveniently located Denny’s near Walmart Plaza. Stopped by for brunch and was seated very quickly. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The food came out in a reasonable time, was hot and very fresh. However, the atmosphere and ambiance could use some renovation. There are several ripped worn seats, old tables that are scratched up, peeling and chipped paint, broken flooring, etc. The bathroom also needs work. It was not very clean, the door is coming off the hinge. The overall place seems dated and work.

Overall I enjoy Denny’s. It’s a little outdated but I didnt go for the astetics. The server were pleasant and the costs was average. Now for the main reason for this review. I had their Philly steak omelet, red potatos which came with toast. The omelet was delicious. They used real sirloin steak and it was cooked perfect. It had onions, peppers and mushrooms along with Swiss cheese inside. I opted out of the cheese and I topped it with steak sauce. I like this option opposed to the traditional steak and eggs because it looked more appealing and fun to eat. My husband had the ultimate vegetable omelette and that looked devine as well and he said it tasted great. If you go, check out their omelets…delicioso!!!
