Love this place! The food is elevated and they are always trying out new innovative dishes. Beats a lot of restaurants in Seattle and definitely a place to take friends and family when they are visiting!

We got the bread service, oysters, risotto, and surf & turf. The oysters were okay (I’m not a big fan of oysters) but everything else tasted amazing! I absolutely adored the bread. However, we did wait 30-40 minutes for our food and it was hard to get ahold of our server to order food and get our bill.

We came in right before the dinner rush on a weekday, around 6pm, and were sat right away. If our server wasn’t hard to find, I think we would’ve been able to order before the rush and wouldn’t have had to wait nearly as long for our food.

I’d definitely recommend to a friend but would warn of the wait.

This restaurant is very cute and the service was warm and attentive. The salmon and side of truffle cheese gratin were both very tasty. Only complaint would be that the crème brûlée was not set and instead had a pretty runny consistency, bordering on still being liquid. For a dessert that expensive, it should have been properly firm. The raspberry reef, particularly the raspberry mousse cups, was pretty good.

Loved the oysters and steak tartare — both were delicious! But the ribeye steak was a big disappointment. We asked for medium, but it came out way overcooked. The restaurant offered to remake it, which we appreciated, but the second one still didn’t taste good at all.

Salt & Iron Brunch

We had a fantastic brunch at Salt & Iron! The service was amazing—attentive, friendly, and welcoming from start to finish. The food was flavorful and delicious across the board. While the crab Benedict was a bit soggy for our taste, everything else truly hit the mark.

Our favorite part? The champagne bucket complete with both grapefruit and orange juice—such a fun and classy touch that made our brunch extra special.

We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Delicious! We made a reservation for another weekend after being told the wait would be almost three hours, but coming back was definitely worth it. A beautifully cooked filet mignon, a scallop risotto in green sauce, and roasted brussel sprouts that were mostly butter, it’s making my mouth water just remembering it. The wine selection was robust, the staff were pleasant and professional, and the atmosphere was somehow both casual and refined. We were a tad overdressed for the venue, so I think the focus here is good food and good service in an informal, relaxed space.

We just stopped for drinks and appetizers. We had an absolutely delicious steak tartar and some drinks. The host was super kind to let us enjoy some sunshine in the late afternoon. Inside looks very elegant and cozy. We’ll comeback for dinner.

We did the Seattle Restaurant Week menu as well as the bone marrow appetizer. The restaurant itself is gorgeous – the perfect upscale date night vibes.

Parking can be challenging – as it’s all free street parking and it can be busy in the downtown area.

Staff were above and beyond friendly, helpful with the menu, and provided great service. The SRW menu was fabulous, every dish was packed with flavor. The steak was cooked perfect – I’m a rare cooked steak gal and they nailed it!
