This restaurant is 5 star all day. Food came out fresh and delicious, large portions, really cool atmosphere, good size dinning room. Waitress was really patient with our children. Very friendly and attentive to us. I gave 4 star for service, because while service was excellent we had to wait outside for a table over an hr. Still gave overall 5 stars because being packed is not their fault. It’s my critique of the experience. Everything else was excellent

I was genuinely excited to eat here again. I used to live in Fayetteville and came almost every Sunday, so this place held a lot of nostalgia for me. Unfortunately, that excitement turned into complete disappointment.
When my husband brought the food to me, there was hair inside my quesadilla. The food was untouched. I immediately contacted the restaurant, explained that I no longer live nearby and therefore could not bring the food back in person. They asked me to send photos, which I did clear pictures showing the hair in the food.
Despite seeing the evidence, I was told they could not issue a refund.
Finding hair in your food is already unacceptable. Refusing to take accountability after it’s clearly documented is even worse. This was a simple opportunity to make things right, and it was completely mishandled.
They’ve lost a loyal customer, and I will absolutely be warning friends and family in Fayetteville about this experience. Extremely disappointing food safety standards and customer service.

My first time trying this restaurant. The service was good, the waitress was kind and polite. We enjoyed the food there, and the drinks were great. Plenty of seats inside the restaurant, clean, and good atmosphere. Check out the restaurant. We will be returning!

Excellent experience! I have not visited this restaurant in probably at least 15 years. It was delicious. Fast service, friendly waitress. Great selection. Chips are thin, warm & crispy . Salsa was excellent. I ordered a combo & it was all delicious, and a HUGE serving . Lots of options in the combo selection also! Great atmosphere, just as I remembered! I’ll Definitely be back soon.

El Cazador is hands down the best spot here for Mexican food. I had the menudo and it was absolutely delicious, rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. My friend ordered the Coctel De Camaron and said it was just as amazing. The salsa had the perfect kick without being overwhelming and the guacamole was fresh, creamy, and clearly made with care.
On top of the great food the service was friendly and attentive and the entire restaurant was very clean and welcoming. You can really tell they take pride in what they do here. Overall an outstanding experience from start to finish. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic and flavorful Mexican food.

Authentic Experience with Great Service, But One Drawback
I recently visited El Cazador Mexican Restaurant and was impressed by the overall experience. The decor is 100% Mexican, with authentic music that adds to the ambiance. The restaurant was spotless, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive.
My server went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary preference—I originally wanted a dish that was made with beef but since I don’t eat lamb, she made sure it was prepared without it. She even brought extra condiments to enhance the dish, which was a thoughtful touch. The food itself was flavorful and well-prepared, making for a satisfying meal.
The only downside to my visit was the seating arrangement. Despite the restaurant not being too busy, I was placed at a table very close to the restrooms. Normally, this wouldn’t be a big issue, but in this case, I could hear everything from inside, which took away from the dining experience.
Overall, I’d still recommend this place for its authenticity, cleanliness, and excellent service. I’d just suggest requesting a table away from the restrooms if possible.

Cute if you are looking to be romantic. It’s so dark in there you have to turn your phone light on in the booth. The food was pretty basic like any other Mexican place. We asked for no cilantro on the Biergarten tacos and she still had it on them. No one listens. Won’t go back!
