Husband and I decided to try out this gem while shopping and it did not disappoint! Very welcoming as soon as we walked in the door! Andrea was our waitress, very sweet, knowledgeable, & prompt! I ordered enchiladas and hubs ordered the chicken tenders meal, mash potatoes, sweet corn! Came with the salad bar as a side! WHAAAT!!! YEP!! Very easy 5 stars! Definitely recommend! The decor and gift shop was excellent!

Just know this staple is our favorite Iowa family restaurant & has outstanding food and service!! The fish fry is always knocked outta the park with great flavor and an amazing salad bar! It was good overall kind of gives a Cracker Barrel vibe. This is corn beef has with hash browns add onions, mushrooms, and peppers. Then a half size of biscuits and gravy. Spent about 25 dollars

Ahhh the food here is amazing! The waitress we had was super friendly too, always made sure we were topped off on coffee and water, and made sure we all got the food we wanted. If we ever pass through this area again we will definitely be back!

I’m an OTR driver and I’ve eaten at a lot of places across the country. I wish I had stopped in here sooner. I had the Beef liver and onions with mashed potatoes and gravy, great portions. Between the salad bar and dinner I was absolutely stuffed. The food was excellent and the service great. Dinner came to $22. It’s great to find value and quality in one place.

First time visit to grab a breakfast before continuing a long road trip. Had to search for someone for a few minutes to be seated (per the signage) but once I was my visit was a very good one. Table service was excellent with plenty of friendly conversation. The meal came out fairly quickly and the quality and pricing were both excellent. It wasn’t very busy so noise level was not uncomfortable. Worth a return next time I pass through.
