Zagat said it best when it stated that it has an undersea vibe. The decor here is very cute. Cuter and unlike any other Thai restaurant I’ve been to. Now for the food. I think they have a great selection for vegetarians so this place gets high marks. They have your standard Thai staples mixed with American fare such as everyone’s favorite Arnold Palmer. Their spiciest dish isn’t very Thai hot, but they will provide you with extra red pepper flakes if it makes you happy. Ive never made it all the way through dessert because their smaller portions are that filling.

I was on the trip and was very hungry and decided on Tara Thai even though saw Two Girls across the street. Host came right away and I just ordered Typhoon Soup just in seconds after looking at the menu. She assumed I was taking out and asked if I want to pay now or later and I offered to pay now. When she came back she had food in to go container and I asked if I can have it there and she was surprised and went back put it in nice bowl and brought it back in a minute. Soup is something from the skies. Best soup that I have ever had in any japanese/chinese/thai cuisine. I would visit this place often if I lived here but unfotunately…
