Reviews
Service – Our server was polite and brought drinks quickly, but refills had to be requested and the overall pace was slow. There was a noticeable wait for our food despite the restaurant not being busy. Dinner plates weren’t cleared until we stacked them up ourselves, which delayed ordering dessert.
Meals –
My wife and granddaughter decided to make a meal out of shared appetizers. They ordered boneless chicken wings with BBQ and buffalo sauce, which unfortunately were overcooked and dry. But the sampler platter was excellent — a giant pretzel with cheese sauce, mozzarella sticks with marinara, and tortilla chips with guacamole. That plate ended up being the highlight of their meal.
My grandson had the 5-Meat Deep Dish Pizza. It was loaded and flavorful, but arrived just warm instead of hot. It was served in the deep-dish pan with no spatula, so he had to dig out the first slice with a fork and knife before switching to his hands to get the rest.
I ordered the Jambalaya. It was generously filled with chicken, sausage, and shrimp over rice pilaf, and the flavor was very good. Still, it was also served only warm, not hot, which was a recurring issue.
Dessert – We shared the Baked S’mores Cookie with Vanilla Ice Cream, and it was outstanding — gooey, rich, and the perfect way to end the meal.
Value – With three sodas at $3.99 each, appetizers, entrées, and dessert, the bill came to about $110 before tip for four people. The portion sizes were solid, but the slow service and lukewarm entrées kept it from feeling like the best value.
Overall: BJ’s offers a fun sports-bar vibe and some standout items (especially the sampler platter and dessert), but slow service and food that arrived only warm brought the experience down. With more consistency and attention, this location could be much better.
Nice big interior but not noisy as it wasn’t crowded then.
The full rack of lamb was good.
Could not finish and doggy bagged it and it was still nice when repeated.
Served by a nice lady.
My uncle and I grabbed some “deep dish” pizzas. They were delicious, but a far cry from actual deep dish pizzas. They were actually pretty thin, so I have to remove a star for that disappointment. Otherwise everything was great!
I had a protein bowl with chicken but you can also have no meat for a vegetarian meal. Good size bowl. It had cauliflower, cucumber, corn, pico, brown rice, quinoa, goat cheese, and a yogurt sauce that paired really well.
My husband had the fresh Atlantic Salmon and it was really good.
The cookie and ice cream were really yummy
Definitely recommend!
