Caroline’s in Denton MD was an incredible choice to celebrate our birthdays this year. The beautiful architecture of the building was a perfect backdrop to our delicious meal. From the hostess to our server Miki, the service was impeccable. We started with the crab dip, it was great. Both of our dinners, salmon and prime rib were absolutely perfect. Our server recommended pumpkin cheesecake and it was a home run. I’m still thinking about the collard greens, literally seasoned to perfection! We can’t wait to come back and try the new fall menu, excited to see what items will be added for the season. Since moving to the eastern shore from Annapolis 5 years ago, we’ve tried several local restaurants and this is our favorite. See you soon!

December 2025. Quaint, cozy and an outstanding culinary experience. Very nice ambiance. Holiday drink specials were interesting and exceptional. The appetizers were delicious, especially the crab bisque soup. Food was well executed and flavorful. Met the Chef and highly recommend this restaurant.

Was told by many friends to check out Carolines and I was not disappointed in the least. Atmosphere is great being in an old home with lots of character. Service was great as well. I had the clams casino as an appetizer and they were amazing. Smokey bacon and cheese sauce rested on top of a little neck clam. The flavor combo was devine. My entrée of blackened shrimp and scallops over linguine was over the top. The seafood, cream sauce and pasta were cooked perfectly. Deliciousness at its best! Hats off to all the staff and chef!

My partner and I decided to go back to Caroline’s and try the side bar over the weekend and it was amazing. We got the ham and collard melt, the Caesar wings, and the peach pepper brussels. We also tried the egg custard slushy everything was absolutely amazing and will definitely be going back. The service was amazing and the food came out very quickly, the outside area was also very nice and relaxing!

What a lovely surprise dinner place to find on our way home from the beach! The restaurant is in a beautiful, quaint town and inside a remodeled historic house. We decided to eat outside on the front porch because the weather was so pleasant. We had the shrimp toast as a starter. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, the sauce was the perfect creamy addition, & the bread was delicious! I had the farmer’s pasta for dinner and that was to die for. All of the veggies were fresh & I realized the noodles were gluten free after I ate it. The noodles were wonderful and I would not have guessed! My husband had the burger & he mentioned that it was very fresh, juicy – but not soggy. His fries were fresh, minimally seasoned (he said they may benefit from a bit more salt but it was not a big deal). We both felt great after we ate! We told our awesome waiter Fred that we were celebrating our anniversary & he provided us with a complementary cheesecake – which was outstanding. It was hot honey peach and we were in heaven. So good. We truly loved our experience here! Everything exceeded our expectations!

We came in for brunch yesterday after seeing the newest brunch menu posted online(but knowing that menu was not available yet) and even without a reservation, we were welcomed and sat immediately. To my surprise, the Creme Brulee French Toast (from the new menu) was available and it was AHH-MAZING, 10/10. I almost never eat an entire meal from any restaurant but I ate every bite off that plate! We also ordered the Chicken and Waffles which was delicious as well. The Bloody Mary, best around hands down!! The service was great, the waiter was pleasant and the atmosphere was super cozy. We can’t wait to come back!

Hosts and servers very friendly and available to help. Small historical building, charming and comfortable. Fresh and tasty food, we had scallops, crabcake and a chicken dish. Portions on the smaller side, wish we had bread or rolls while we waited, but all in all, it was amazing food and service.

Last night was date night❤️ I’ve been wanting to try Caroline’s in Denton for a good while and finally got the chance, THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Our server was Nicky(not sure of the spelling) but she was the absolute best and so helpful.
Shrimp toast to start and it was good
Steak & Taters for him with a crabacke. The crabcake was a 10/10 for me.
FO Chicken risotto for me and it was so good.
The dessert was a warm apple crumb cake…. Heaven sent……..
