Great service with friendly staff and patrons. Breakfast was very good. My sister had the breakfast hash and said it was excellent. My husband said the hamburger steak was tender and flavorful. LOVED watching the waitress taking care of an elderly local and the community feel of this little Cafe. It was a great stop along our route for more than just the food.

Adorable, small town cafe right off the highway, complete with a table full of coffee drinking locals. Great place to charge your Tesla and grab a bite to eat. Classic breakfast food. Has a full menu. Food was good. Blueberry pancake was delicious. Service was very fast.

This is an easy one.
#1. Locally owned
#2. Everything fresh made in house (but the pies… They literally just don’t have the kitchen room to do it.)
#3. Great taste!
#4. Respectable prices and daily dinner special
#5. Rig parking
#6. Friendly service.
If you need a bite to eat, this is the place.

We happened in off I-80 early wednesday morning and found a welcoming atmosphere and a fabulous meal. I had an amazing n very tasty omelet w/hash browns, hubby n daughter enjoyed the classic 2 eggs, meat, hash browns n pancakes. Very prompt and friendly service with a smile n bottomless coffee. Will recommend and return! Thanks!

We stopped in here right before close and had a party melt and double cheeseburger, it was excellent and Megan was a very pleasant server despite the fact we came in right before close. We were staying in the RV park close by, the next morning we discovered we had an issue with our RV, with no additional vehicle we we’re stuck. There are no food delivery service around so we called the Cornstalk Cafe and asked if there was any way they would be willing to help us out and deliver, Megan from the previous night agreed to help is out. Thank you Megan you were a life saver. It’s so nice meeting nice people.

I wish I could give this place zero stars.
We waited for an hour and never did get any food. There was an air conditioner vent on the ceiling blasting cold air directly at us. We placed our order–a simple one, salad and some chicken strips–then waited for an HOUR for them before giving up. We could see the cook from our seats. He was a slobbish, unsanitary-looking character, unshaven, with long greasy hair. He seemed to be incapable of cooking more than one item at a time. We watched as the party at the next table (who had been seated just before us) was served one plate at a time (also after an hour). I understand it’s devlishly difficult to find good employees, but surely they could do better than this. (Our waitress seemed pretty intelligent–why doesn’t she cook, and give this cook-guy the job of picking up parking-lot trash or something.)
I can’t comment on the food, because we never got any. We had to give up and leave after an hour of waiting. Thanks to this place, we never did get any supper and were an hour behind schedule for no reason.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM. There are other food places at this interchange.

I’m leaving this review so I will remember next time. This place would be ok if they could actually serve food fast. They take FOREVER. Not worth eating while we charge if it’s going to take 45 minutes beyond a full charge to get food and eat. Next time we’ll stop somewhere else. Twice we’ve tried this place, years apart, and they are still slow as dirt.
