We had a delicious meal at La Fermette! Our bed and breakfast host recommended it and even called to make us a reservation. My wife had the Cod and I had the ham, egg, and cheese galette. Then crème brûlée with cáfe for dessert! Highly recommend La Fermette!!

This place gets extremely busy. It’s best to ring in the day or day before for a reservation. That said they absolutely did their best to squeeze us in. On a high table near the bar but we were happy with this. As service was already in full swing. The waiter recommended a bottle of rose wine and it was a really lovely quality. I ordered hake and it was a large fillet. My husband had moules. Yes there was a little wait but ambience is lovely. Restaurant was warm and cozy on what had been an extremely wet day. The food appeared to be freshly cooked to order so be patient. Really had a wonderful evening I think the food was extremely reasonable. Would recommend if passing through or staying at the many sites near by. Outside terrace area as well.

My family and I have been in France for two weeks and this meal has been our best meal yet so far! Our waiter was beyond gracious to us. I over heard another customer get upset about something that wasn’t the waiters fault and threatened to give the restaurant a bad review with a one star. I think it’s awful how people think that’s ok to do to a small businesses that are very good just to be a jerk. Thank you to the waiter for helping my family create incredible memories with incredible food!!!!!!!

Average food, more of a family-style restaurant similar to chains found in the USA
A family style restaurant similar to an Applebee’s or other chain restaurants with similar décor. Our waiter was new, his first night, and a little nervous but he did well. He was not well versed in the wine selections so we made the choice, a Syrah. Nice selections for a family place.
The Onion Soup was standard but hot, beefy lots of cheese. A sausage/potato gratin was hearty with plenty of sausage and tender potato slices in a peppery cream sauce with slices of camembert melted on top. Very good and filling, almost a small plate meal.
A ribeye steak was a little lean for a ribeye and a little tough but did come rare as requested. Roasted vegetables with a rich camembert sauce were on the side. Lamb ribs were meaty, herb crust but more medium than rare. Still tasty. The frites were hot, crisp, lightly salty.
Average as expected at a chain, family style restaurant.
They take reservations, but they were not full when we were there for dinner on a Sunday evening.

It’s a very busy restaurant. The service was fast and they can cater to tourist. Child friendly. The food portions are good and taste also good. Price is okay for 3 course meal. Definitely recommended. I forgot to take a picture of our main dish though

Great restaurant if you are staying around Mont Saint Michel! They have plenty of options and also offer menus. My boyfriend got a menu with the fish soup, faux-fillet with camembert sauce and the creme brulee, and I had the nordic salad and the tarte tatin. We also shared some cheeses and had some cocktails. Everything was delightful! We also recommend making a reservation as the place seems very popular 🙂

Very good restaurant experience with efficient waiters and fast service. Full bar … try the mojito Normand! The cod and mussels were delicious. Salted caramel panna cotta and crème brûlée topped off the meal.
