Located at the top of the casino, the Rogue River Steakhouse is Chinook Winds’ premiere dining venue. Boasting a nearly 180 degree view of the Pacific and a diverse selection of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, entrees and fresh seafood, artfully prepared, the “Rogue Team” is ready to serve you.

Absolutely amazing food from an innovative chef and standout kitchen, serves elk medallion, prime rib on Fridays and Saturdays, and the house made tortilla chips are out of this world. I also enjoy the French fries, and the service is top notch. Prices are reasonable, given the high quality meats and seafood. The restaurant just remodeled their private dining room, and they do have a children’s menu.

We were here on a Saturday night around dinner time surprise by how not busy it was. I get it. It was January. The off-season of the coast was not the casino was not super busy and this restaurant seemed almost dead.
The service was great, very punctual, light and friendly, as well as not overbearing
The food not so much. The shrimp was tasty and cooked perfectly, but the vegetables were way overcooked and the mashed potatoes were bland.
The half smoked chicken was very, very dry and very very small however: the fries were very, very good.
This course is nice and basic slightly upscale we was always nice, but the food needs help.

Currently under construction but the staff and kitchen make up for the lack of view. The ribeye was excellent! The new clam chowder has a great flavor. And the servers Vianney and Consuelo made our birthday celebration a true event! While the bartenders Tracy and Jesse were competing for best Spanish Coffee on the coast! Thank you to the entire staff for a very memorable experience! ❤️

This was the worst dining experience I’ve had in many years. The restaurant is under renovation with no windows or view, and the host stand awkwardly sits in the middle of the dining room. For a place that calls itself “fine” dining (I use that term loosely — they use paper napkins), the service and food were extremely disappointing.
Service was slow — I received my appetizer before my glass of wine. The jalapeño onion straws were just tiny bits of onion, hard to eat despite decent flavor. The rogue linguine with pesto was drenched in oil. The elk burger looked like a preformed fast-food patty with no flavor, and the fries, though good at first, quickly became overly greasy.
Neither of us ate more than a couple of bites, and the server removed our nearly untouched meals without even asking if something was wrong. Her name tag was turned around, which didn’t inspire confidence.
In all the years I’ve eaten out, this meal stands out as the absolute worst

This restaurant has a wonderful view of the ocean. Unfortunately, the food was mostly disappointing. Two people in our party got the Mac and cheese, one as a side and one entree. There was so much grease in both that 90% of both dishes went to waste. Even the parts that weren’t drowning in grease did not taste good.
One person got fish and chips, which had bones in it. The fries were delicious though.
Our friend described the pork porterhouse as tasting like barnyard. I got the salmon, which was not bad. Not a fan of the veggie mix on the side, but the salmon itself was pretty good.
Overall, I would come back to this place for a drink only and to enjoy the view but do not recommend for dining. The server saw me use a spoon to ladle grease out of my husband’s Mac and cheese and didn’t even ask how the food was.

The food was tasty, but the server brought our bill 5-7 minutes after we just started eating. First, I was shocked, she just went away, when she came back to ask if everything tasted good I asked why would she do that, she said that thought I was not hungry, cause my friend was ordering food for me and herself and that’s why she gave our bill. So, I asked how she would know, because I was about to order some dessert. She never showed the beverage and dessert menu, however I was asking, just told me some names. That was weird and rude. Thank you for food, but it was spoiled. In the end she ignored me and just asked if my friend liked her meal…

Absolutely horrible service. I’d rate the food if we were able to get any. After a 45 minute wait to be seated, my wife and I were 100% ignored for 37 minutes. No taking of drinks, appetizers, nothing. I times to see just how long it would take and when finally waited on let the waiter know we were leaving. I knew it was gonna be bad when it took 15 minutes for the table next to us to get a bottle of ketchup they’d asked for. I Highly don’t recommend the place. I’ve traveled all over the world and this place is up in the top 3 worst.

This restaurant is more for the adults. It’s located inside of the casino. The food is great but a little expensive. Service was great as well. I had Salmon with pesto, my husband had the pork porter house. It was so delicious. We watched the sunset from our table.

This will be the second time my wife and I have came here. The food is very good and honestly what really keeps us coming back is the customer service. Both times we have had Chris as our server and he is excellent. Always checking on us, recommending items and fully explaining items on the menu. Very polite, definitely will be coming back. The view is great with a quiet atmosphere

We celebrated Thanksgiving at the steakhouse and really enjoyed our meal. The prime rib special was amazing and the turkey dinner was spot on. Portions and pricing were both good. The service was a little slow, but there only seemed to be a few people working. We had a great time and enjoyed the view. We have spent several Thanksgiving meals with you folks and will be back again.
