Our experience with the staff was outstanding. Dylan and another women were very friendly and welcoming.
Dylan took the time to carefully explain my options for what I could purchase/eat given my gluten allergy and made sure the pizza he prepared for me was safe to eat. He also reviewed the allergen binder with me to confirm exactly what I could and couldn’t have based on my allergies. Throughout the entire interaction, he was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely patient.
There was also a very friendly female employee, I didn’t catch her name, who helped answer additional questions about food options. She was especially kind to my family, which included five adults and four children—so there were lots of plates and kids moving around. She remained patient and pleasant the entire time, even when my youngest held the door open for her but was really in her way as she was clearing plates.
Thank you to Dylan and the other female employee for providing such excellent customer service.
The buffet was fully stocked for a Sunday mid-afternoon, and the staff appeared to genuinely enjoy their jobs—they smiled often and created a welcoming atmosphere. The tables were clean, and the floors were safe and not slippery, despite the melting snow and slush outside.
Overall, the customer service and cleanliness were excellent.
At the Appleton location, it is unfortunate that individuals with medical dietary restrictions for gluten free must pay significantly more if they want to enjoy gluten sensitive pizza and the salad buffet in comparison to other Pizza Ranches in the state.

VERY impressed with the attention & level of completeness on the dusting taking place (on the other side). Items moved to dust under AND decor themselves even dusted!! Mgr was very respectful in training a new employee & the employee didn’t appear intimidated by the mgr (some mgrs like to show their rank over staff which can make new staff nervous). Special pizza that I ordered came out the fastest of any store I’ve been to. Often it doesn’t come out until I’m almost done eating. Very friendly & attentive wait staff. SO SO appreciate those in this age group that are actually willing to work. Unfortunately that’s no longer the “norm”, extra kudos to them! Food was always rotated & dried out old food removed instead of leaving it out. Nice to have hot & fresh!! One last thing, Pizza Ranch rewards seem to add up & earn much more quickly than a lot of others out there. Please build in Shawano WI!!!

This was my first experience with the food chain. I wasn’t sure what i was expecting, but it was a pleasant experience.
I’m in love with their blueberry streusel pizza. Yum is not even close to the explaining how good this is.

I love their chicken. I’ve ordered delivery many times and it’s $15 for 4 pieces. This was my first time dining in for buffet, it’s the same price, but i get to eat a variety of pizzas as well. They also have salads and desserts. Great service and ambience. Will be back next time i crave chicken and pizza.

Couldn’t do buffet due to allergies to gluten. Manager was so nice and understanding. The gluten free pizza was made and boxed then brought to my table.

The Appleton Pizza Ranch off of Calumet is the OG in the area. They have been focused on 5 Star service since the day they opened and have succeeded. The Food is great and the service is top notch. Chicken, sides, salad bar, desert bar and made to order pizza. What more could you ask for at a good price? Thank you for providing a place like this for our family of 6 and all the other families in the fox cities.
