We were visiting family in the area and told we had to see Mahuffer’s, so we did. It was a quiet afternoon so we were able to walk around and take in all the sites while enjoying our warm beer. (Not really, it was nice and cold) They say it survived the hurricane, but did it? Haha! You have to see it at least once.

Best dive bar in the area, you have to try it at least once. Inside and outside bar with plenty of seating. Dollar bills tacked up on all the walls and ceiling.
The cats rule here so if one is on a stool you’ll just have to find somewhere else to sit.
The bathrooms are disgusting. Lots of dust and dirt everywhere.

Best dive bar on the Gulf. Cheap but great drinks. It survived the hurricanes in 2024. All are welcomed with open arms hahaha!

As a Wisconsinite with “Dive Bar” in my blood… I wanted to love this place. I get it, it’s supposed to be yucky. But it was just TOO YUCKY. The smell of mold and mildew did it for me.
Please clean up and start over, you can do it again.

If you want music and fun after a few drinks, this is your place. Dive bar style. Classic rock by the band..ps they do not take modern music requests and don’t piss them off by asking. I honeslty dont know how they run the band for all of the drunks every night. These guys are solid, old school musicians. Give them a buck when you arrive. They deserve it! Their music is for the soul and fun!

They’re back open and still looks the same! Recently reopened from Hurricane damage. The best Bloody Marys on the beach! 1 of a kind dive bar, famous across the world. Plenty of free parking in the back.

Came in on Wednesday at opening to meet some friends. Wanted to love this place but the rude bartender killed the whole trip. Not sure why she instantly hated us. Would have become new “regulars”. Guess you don’t need anymore customers.
