Was looking for some place to eat and ran across this place i got me a meal with fish, chicken, wings and fries and i wasn’t disappointed. I called my order in and by the time i got there it was ready to go. The guy at the counter was very pleasant. The food was fried well and not in old grease and the food wasn’t salty but had some seasoning on it which i appreciate because i don’t like a lot of salt on my food. If im not mistaken the total for the food with $16.75 and it came with a free can soda

Very friendly and attentive service and the food is amazing! I was offered a sample of their excellent soup and the chicken burrito was sooo delicious! I would give ten stars if I could ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So far I have only tried the shawerma and it was so amazing I have no words. I have tried shawerma in different parts of the middle east, and I never thought the best shawerma I’d try would be in Newark, NJ. The staff is extremely hospitable and generous and try to remember your name if you tell them. The restaurant is extremely clean and you can see into the kitchen from the cash register and it is very clean and hygienic. Everything is made to order so it is not sitting out.
Update: Came back today with my mom and she ordered a grilled chicken salad and requested shawerma instead of grilled chicken and she really liked it! She is very picky about middle eastern food because she grew up there and always feels like she could make it better than the restaurants in the US so it was not expected. I had the chicken shawerma platter and thought it was really good too! Good portion size as well and not stingy with the protein.

I used to really enjoy ordering from this place. The first time I tried the chicken wings, they were juicy, flavorful, and a great size. Lately though, the quality has gone downhill. Each time I’ve ordered over the past few months, the wings have gotten smaller, and my most recent order was the worst yet. The wings were tiny—one was actually smaller than my finger. You can see it in the photo.
It’s disappointing to see such a change, especially when the wings were what originally made this spot stand out. I hope this isn’t a case of quality dropping as business grows, because that would be a real letdown.
Their mixed platter is still solid, but the wings have definitely changed the most. I’m hoping this was just a bad batch and not the new standard.

I had the pleasure of dining at Royal chicken & Mix Grill, and I can confidently say that I had the best chicken shawarma in the United States here! Having experienced the real deal in the Middle East, I was blown away by how authentic and flavorful the shawarma was. The chicken was bursting with flavor, the bread was perfectly toasted, and the sauce was absolutely amazing and exceptional. The friendly and generous staff made the experience even better. Plus, the prices are very affordable, making it a fantastic value for such high-quality food. I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. This place is strongly recommended for anyone craving authentic and delicious cuisine!

Got the beef/lamb burrito and Falafel platter. Falafel was crunchy on the outside and soft inside. Good flavors and they were generous with the portions. Don’t forget the white sauce. As for seating, there were only 3 stools by a counter by the window. We got there early and got seats. Price is fair for what you’re getting. It’s also street parking. Note that there’s a 3% charge for credit cards. Highly recommend this place and would try something else on the menu next time.
