Our family has been to Weck’s several times. Sometimes we were happy with our meal and sometimes we we’re not so pleased. I went to the location in Rio Rancho today with my friend for breakfast. I was so pleased! I was more than just pleased because everything that we got was delicious. I got the two egg breakfast. I ordered poached eggs and they were cooked perfectly. They did have a tiny bit of water in their little bowl. I just dried them out with a paper towel. They were cooked perfectly and so were the hash browns. The biscuits are amazing and so is their gravy. My friend was so happy with her vegetable egg burrito that was Christmas. I will definitely be going back. I still have to try their waffles and sandwiches. We were so pleased at our Rio Rancho location. We had great service and we loved our waitress. Our waitresses name was Oli. She took great care of us and she had a great smile and attitude.

Been coming here for YEARS whenever i’m visiting NM & Weck’s in Rio Rancho is hands down our favorite location—no competition! The food is always incredible (just look at that plates ), but what truly makes this place stand out is the service. Every time we come, the staff is kind, quick, and genuinely cares about your experience today our server was Erika she was awesome
Whether it’s the christmas smothered burritos, perfectly crispy bacon and hash browns, or the pancakes piled high with whipped cream and strawberries, everything tastes homemade and hits the spot every single time. It truly feels like the cooks go above & beyond every-time!!!
We come here as often as we can because it never disappoints. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in!!!!!:)

Our top local breakfast spot! The New Mexico Benedict is a must try (green chili of course)! The Paps Bowls are LOADED! Best breakfast you’ll find in the area, hands down!! Service is always great too! Check em out!!

Came in on a weekday morning and was surprised how busy they were, yet I was seated right away. The staff was friendly and efficient.
I ordered the south of Denver omelette with no the red and green chili and thoroughly enjoyed it. I felt the flavors were ideal and it was the kind of breakfast I was hoping for in New Mexico. I still plan to visit many other restaurants while I’m here but this one is definitely one of my favorites.
EDIT 2024: had a disappointing visit this week. Waited 15 minutes after being seated to get my order taken (even my drink) and then found the food to be rather tasteless. There was no difference between the red and green sauces and no real flavor. They were simply a colored, wet sauce rather than something that truly added or elevates the meal. This is a stark difference from my previous visit (as well as the Wecks in Las Cruces I’ve been to a few times) and very different from other New Mexican breakfasts I’ve had in ABQ. Likely will skip this location on my next visit.

Had biscuits and gravy this morning with hash browns, scrambled eggs and bacon. Definitely enough for two meals… taking some eggs, bacon, and hash browns home and making a breakfast burrito for tomorrow 🙂

Manager was rude. Food was good, however we ordered for pick up and we didn’t get our fruit that was supposed to be with the order, fruit French toast or the English muffin with the eggs Benedict. When we called we got put on hold and then told to call back because the manager was too busy. We won’t be going back.

Good portions of breakfast and lunch items, fast service, clean, good value and everything prepared well. American style food with New Mexico red or green chile accent, or side if you like, which makes this Albuquerque chain a favorite of the locals. Great New Mexico Eggs Benedict with your choice of that wonderful red or green chili. Can get a little crowded now and then, but always a good sign. This place has been consistent for decades. You wont be disappointed!
