A friend and I went to Hawaiian Bros the other day. I was skeptical at first but he said it was really good so we went. I got the island wrap which was yummy. I went in the next day and got the island salad and it is so yummy and Zoe had recommended it to me. The young lady that works behind the counter. Super nice, all the people that work there a really nice . Here is a picture of my beautiful salad. The lettuce is crisp rinsed very well and it is so good. I give it 20 stars and Zoe for recommending it as well. Thank you Zoe..

Usually we love Hawaiian bros for a quick dinner. Highly highly disappointed with this order… it was completely wrong and just thrown in the box like whoever put it together had some vendetta against the world. We paid extra for the veggie side which I didn’t even get. Really disappointed.

The staff was wonderful. Courteous and helpful – the gentleman even brought our food out to us. Not typical for quick service. One suggestion, for dine in, provide something other than styrofoam to eat on. Other than that, I look forward to going back.

Service: food was prepared quickly and order instructions were acknowledged and followed
Food: appearance was excellent, portions were great, taste was just ok (only reason for the lost star…teriyaki sauce dominates the chicken and the Mac salad needed a full packet of sriracha because it was fairly bland).
Overall, if you arrive hungry, this is good comfort food. Staff, portion size, and clean atmosphere make this a solid option in the Ward Parkway mall.

Edit: 2022 this place has gone somewhat downhill on quantity and quality of the meat (especially the pork)
Pros:
1) Very high food-quantity to food-cost ratio (could imagine plates costing $2 more and still being reasonable). I got more meat here than I do at a dedicated barbeque place (for this price)
2) Friendly staff
3) Clean restaurant
4) Super tasty meat
5) Has pineapple ice cream (similar to the ice cream floats at Disney – but let it melt for more flavor)
6) Between inside and outside seating, there’s capacity for around 60 people (so it’s fine-in and not just a to-go/pickup place)
7) Service is super prompt (to be fair, they basically just have to scoop whatever you ordered onto a tray and then it’s ready)
Cons:
1) Unisex bathroom (but at least the stalls are like closets)
2) Not very healthy
3) They have “servers” who bring you food. But you order your food, you get your drink, so all they do is bring you your food. But when ordering at the beginning there’s a section for tip (before you even know the quality of service you receive…)

2) They have self-service kiosks where you order food at (for dine-in) but it’s an easy-to-use interface
3) Don’t make our mistake and order a side white rice – the plates come with enough!

We’re visiting from Minnesota and have never had Hawaiian food before. Zoe was super helpful. She suggested we both get split plates so we could share and try 4 dishes each. We both loved all 4! I liked the Honolulu chicken best and my wife liked the Molokai chicken the best. But all were great. We have to be on the road at 8am tomorrow and joked about maybe we could talk them into opening for breakfast before we leave town.

I’d give 6 stars if I could. Donte was very helpful and very respectful and knowledgeable about the menu. I was having trouble with the kiosk and he came over and helped me out and made it a breeze. I love the food, but because of him will be coming back to this location! Give this man a raise or promotion because he is doing above and beyond for the customer! You rock donte, can’t wait to see ya again. & seriously, give the man a raise it’s 11pm and he could be tired and or goofing off but he’s helping customers and training.employees what to do. Keep him around.
