Keep an eye on your receipts and the amount you buy, I’ve been there 3 times and they have made mistakes on all three of my orders which I figure if they were mistakes at least there should be one to my benefit, but all have been either over charged, mystery charge or under the weight “Mistakes” and one the chicharrón was so old and hard I had to throw it away.. food is decent but the people running it aren’t… plus they all look miserable

Went in to purchase some goat meat and cube steaks. The butcher and the only other person in the store did not speak or understand English. I did not speak Spanish. My husband called before and spoke to the owner. He spoke English but was not there that day. Seems like an odd way to run a business that caters to English speaking customers. They serve Hispanics primarily. We got by because I remembered the word for goat that I read one time.

If you want real carnitas, this is the place to go. Their full chicken is exceptional and the staff are great. They may not speak English too great, but you’ll manage. If you feel like eating there, the food is again, awesome! I’ve been going here for three yrs and I’ve never been disappointed.

I purchased some “chicharrones” today and asked for a pound, I immediately realized it didn’t feel like a pound. I weighted the chicharrones when I got home, and it was .66 on my scale. I will be reported this to the weight and measures department. I am wondering how many Latinos have been deceived by this fraud.
