I stopped in Royal Lounge with a friend after the comedy show this past Sunday. We wanted food originally but wanted to support the business and check out the vibes even though there were no longer serving food (10:30pm). My friend and I sat waiting for about 20 minutes maybe more without even being acknowledged and I usually give bartenders grace, but I am a bartender myself and I work high traffic environments. I AT THE VERY LEAST acknowledge every customer even if I cant get to them. This was my first time stopping in since it changed from Magoo’s and I live in walking distance. I hoped for a better experience. Another local bar’s energy and service was GREAT. They had food. They showed so much love and all bars need to provide that experience! Sunday evening are typically slow. No reason for any customer jot to have a better, more personable experience:(

It’s okay, they need to sale food have a kitchen. On game day it should be 2 for one price on beer and wine. Royal lounge need at least 3 bartenders during game day. PERIOD!!!!

Extremely rude management!
I called to share my experience and was repeatedly interrupted. The manager spoke to me in a condescending tone and assumed I should already be familiar with merchant regulations at the liquor store.?!?!
If they choose to apply a surcharge for credit card purchases, federal regulations require two things:
1. The charge must apply only to actual credit cards—not debit cards.
2. The surcharge must be explicitly disclosed to the customer and appear as a separate line item on the receipt.
Neither of these requirements were met. I was not made aware of any surcharge at the time of purchase, and for that reason, I will be filing a formal complaint.
I would not recommend their food or their service. Hope this helps someone else avoid the same experience.

I’ve been to this bar a couple of times and both times was disappointed in the service. I was there at about 7:30 and I ordered a drink and some chicken wings. The bartender told me she wasn’t going to make wings and make drinks and that the guy cooking wings would be in about 9:00 but didn’t know exactly if he was coming or not. To me, her behavior was rude. I don’t know what the standard here is but it seems to be subpar as far as a friendly atmosphere goes..

Nice spot to go to on a Saturday night. Not crowded at all on Saturday night. They have a nice dance floor and me and my ex girlfriend love the music the Dj was playing. The prices were good for the drinks not expensive.

Covid observed. Very polite. Young man ( stranger) got me a stool. Very impressed. Chivalry is not dead at this place. Ohio State Game is coming on now. Very pleased. Stop in if u get a chance.

Soooo I went for happy happy hour. They didn’t have food (until 5) and there happy hour ($2 Hennessy) doesn’t start till (10pm-12pm) it was kinda warm do to lack of central air. Touch tones was my only friend and the mirror.
