If you’re looking for fine dining in Charleston, look no further. This place definitely has it’s act together. They have a serious chef who really knows his craft. We had a party of 6 and each meal was expertly prepared. You could go somewhere cheaper but for 2/3 the price you won’t get 1/2 the meal. The restaurant itself is also very nice and clean. They have some awesome alcoves you can dine in that make it feel like you’re in your own little restaurant. Great food, great service and a wonderful ambiance. What more can you ask for?

I got the almond crusted trout special, and it was delicious. My husband got the 14oz NY strip, it was beautifully made and so tender. Our server was also amazing (Tom) .

First time dining here, and I couldn’t imagine us ever coming back. Really disappointed. The reviews were so good, we thought this was going to be great. We were in visiting on a work trip and we were looking for some great food.

First off, the venue space is nice. I really liked the atmosphere and vibe. Unfortunately, things kind of didn’t start well and they just went downhill from there.

We were looking at the higher dollar menu items like the seabass and scallops. They had a scallops special that caught our attention but the chef wouldn’t budge on the menu sides. We were looking for something lower carb. What I wanted was the scallop dinner with the special miso sauce, but instead of the sweet potato hash, I wanted veggies. But the server said the chef said no. Based on that, we both ended up ordering a hamburger. It wasn’t what we wanted but we felt it was the safest option based on the quality of the appetizer.

You see, we had ordered some calamari and it was so bad we had to send it back. It was nothing but hard crunchy batter. There was very little calamari actually in the pieces. You couldn’t even pierce it with your fork. It was horrible. Based on the quality and flavor of the calamari, we decided to not take the risk on sea bass or scallops.

The burgers came out and they were ok. Nothing special. I’ve read through some of the other reviews about the complaints of how salty the food is, and I can confirm the food we had was way over salted.

Now for the service. This was a really awkward and uncomfortable night. The server was trying but he honestly didn’t fit the price point of the menu. Each interaction was more awkward than the next. The things he would say and the way he communicated, made us so confused and uncomfortable. He was a nice guy, he just probably isn’t a good fit as a server.

We’ve had good meals in Charleston before, tonight wasn’t one of them. The martinis we had were good, but we walked out of there only spending $70, while we had a budget of $125 each to spend. This restaurant lost out on $180 worth of business all because they didn’t want to budge on the scallops dish. Do the math, this wasn’t a smart business decision.

This is the second time we have been here for our anniversary. This place is phenomenal! The atmosphere and service are great, but the food is out of this world! Everything made for a perfect evening of celebration.

Celebrated my daughter completing her Masters defense at WMU. We had a wonderful time, the staff makes you feel very welcome. Food was wonderful, and our waitress was top notch, she was very informative and had great recommendations. Thank you for the wonderful night. Next time I’’m in town I’ll be back. Side note. At the table next to us was Carla Hall from the Foodnetwork, and Top Chef. That should tell something about this place. Top notch!

Really enjoyed the efficiency here—so efficient, in fact, that our appetizer and main course arrived together. It was thoughtful of the kitchen to save us the suspense of pacing a meal. Unfortunately, the appetizer had already cooled down by the time it hit the table, which was a fun surprise.

When we mentioned it, the manager responded with a smart remark rather than a solution, which definitely added to the overall “unique” dining experience. It’s always refreshing when customer feedback is met with sarcasm instead of, say, concern.

Food had potential, but timing, temperature, and attitude made this visit memorable for all the wrong reasons.

Had great experiences in the past but extremely disappointed this evening. Probably will not go back and will probably just stick with 10 10.

Our family was in the area to attend a production at the Clay center and we were looking for a restaurant in close proximity. We decided to reserve a table here on a whim and, legit, they did not disappoint.

Our 8 year old, the pickiest eater the world has ever seen, ate her fill and even insisted on trying some of OUR food. She declared “FIVE STARS” halfway through our meal. She ordered the ‘peach punch’ with her meal off the kids menu and said it was the ‘best drink ever’.

Our server was incredibly attentive and friendly, without being overbearing. He gave us some recommendations and, for the first time in my life, I ordered the chef’s special…which was absolutely amazing.

The appetizer ‘Fried Green Tomato Napoleon’ was so so good. Such an innovative and delicious concept. My husband preemptively called dibs on the leftovers, lol. The chefs special was blackened salmon with curry rice and veggies…and it was….chefs kiss. 10/10 would recommend.

We hope to make this our new ‘go to’ place for date night. Highly recommend

We are in town for a convention and a large group of us went here for dinner. Everything we had was great. The salads were very fresh. The filet was cooked perfectly and had excellent flavor. The vegetable was green beans and they were also good. The cheesecake was very creamy and delicious. Chelsie was our server and did and excellent job. Our group was large and she handled it with ease! They do have a small parking lot in the front, but they have additional parking in the back. There is also a paid lot across the street. I would definitely recommend trying this place out!

One of the best meals we’ve had in Charleston. There are so many delicious sounding things on the menu! We couldn’t decide between two appetizers, so we got them both; Stuffed Portobello and Seared Tuna and both were superb! We were nearly full after that so we opted for soup and salad. The Lobster Bisque is terrific. I also couldn’t say no to the crem brulee and it was the perfect ending to an amazing meal. We’re already making plans to go back. Service was top-notch, excellent beer and cocktail selection, and nice atmosphere. You’ll love it.

The girlfriend and I stopped here to eat and were surely not disappointed. The food was impeccable. The garlic and rosemary lamb came with green beans, mashed potatoes, and a blueberry red wine reduction sauce on the side. The meal was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. I was very impressed. The NY strip came with the same sides as the lamb, but the steak was also full of so much flavor. It was cooked perfectly and was very tender. I’d have to say one of the best steaks I’ve tasted. The desserts were on a different level. The tiramisu had to be one of the best you could have. I truly can’t think of a bad thing to say about my experience. I definitely would recommend to anyone who doesn’t mind to spend $30-$60 per person. It’s also nice to add that the atmosphere is one like no other. The style of the dining room is unique in the best way possible.
