I called for some corn meal porridge, I had to drive a distance to pick it up got into the restaurant. I seen all the lovely food on display. I ended up getting two platters of rice with jerk, pork and curry goat some macaroni pie, two beef patties with cocoa bread, fried dumplings, and Drink the young lady behind the counter was very nice. She made me laugh. The food was very delicious and I will be returning soon. Nice place

I ordered ‘Ackee & Saltfish’ & I guess they did not have a fresh order of food to sell me and they sold me an order full of stale murky-water laden provisions that I recognize as a fellow West Indian as provisions that were cooked yesterday & soaked up the sludge from the bottom of the pot. The better customer service would have been to let me know they were not able to sell me fresh food. Selling me stale food is unethical. I will contact Uber Eats about this because in the past I did not have this problem. Someone made a bad judgment call with my order today. My previous orders from them were fresh-food orders; however, today was a leftovers/stale food situation. Very disappointing.

I ordered a ten-piece order of wings via Uber Eats and they sent me “Chicken-Back” pieces instead of “Wings.” Fortunately, Uber Eats refunded me for my bad November 2025 experiences with Island Flavor Jerk Cuisine. I spoke to the proprietor on the phone and she told me should couldn’t understand what I was saying on the phone call. We may have had a bad connection on the phone lines; however, we also had a bad connection between the restaurant managers/order- fulfillers/owners and the diner/patron/customer (me). Why did they do this? I had positive food experiences with them three times previous to this debacle. I will never buy from them again. If you do not have the food ready that a customer wants—simply tell the customer and they will understand. No need to send out a poor representation of your restaurant to make a sale that hurt your Google Maps rating. Bad business decisions are more costly that letting a customer understand that you have a low stock on some items.

The chef here Nigel is an amazing cook, also the host who serves too, Junnette is so polite and well mannered so patient as well. David who works the register is always so welcoming to me. Food is 10/10 super delicious every time. I come here all the time and it’s always worth it. They’re on Uber as well

-I got the large island jerk chicken, came with 1 chopped up piece of thigh and leg, rice, plantains and cabbage. Wished it came with more chicken for the large considering the price.
-flavor and spices were on point and authentic. The rice was a bit overcooked for my preferences IMO.

Great food!! I got the large jerk chicken with extra sauce and when I tell you that chicken is cooked to perfection . Everything was great! Customer service was 10/10. Highly recommended!!!!

Island Flavor has to be the best Jamaican food I’ve ever had!!! I walked in and was greeted with love immediately. I ordered the Sweet Chili Shrimp with spinach rice plantains and vegetables and I legit could not put my fork down. The shrimp was nicely cooked, tender and juicy and they also give you a lot of food FOR THE BEST PRICE. If you are reading this do yourself a favor a go to Island Flavor and do your family a favor as well and bring them along with you
