We were offered a seat in the quiet or noisy section. This was appreciated. Our waitress was a busy one doing her job. The food all came out in a reasonable time. Between the 4 of us, there was fried shrimp, pork chops, layered burrito and chicken fajitas. Everyone said their food was excellent!
We arrived ahead of the crowd at 5 on a Saturday. There were people waiting when we left but I don’t think they waited very long. We would definitely go back again.

Wow! What great meal. I had the beef enchiladas and my wife the Gentleman’s Choice. Both meals were fantastic. Great servers. Very friendly. Traditional Mexican atmosphere and congeniality. Plenty of good off street parking.

Hey all, it’s me again. Yesterday we went to this place recommend by a local resident. WOW … what a delight!!! The place was crowded when we arrived and crowded when we left. Food was really good and came in a timely manner, but the SERVICE is what I wanna tell you about. From Anna at the front to our server, Angie, really it was from the minute we walked in to the minute we left, it was smiles ALL AROUND. The people who work there actually seemed so happy to be working there and happy to be serving their customers, I mean ALL of them! I’d go back to this place just to get some more of that joy The place is jumpin’ with joy!! BEAUTIFULLY decorated for Christmas just made me feel so happy! The food, again, was good! Whatever you do, DON’T MISS LAS VEGAS CAFE!

We got a to-go order and believe it or not, the food was still hot and fresh. I’m not sure if they have a new cook, but the food is, dare I say, better! We asked for refried beans and I swear it’s the only establishment that actually makes them super refried. I love that.

Best TexMex food in the RGV accompanied by excellent customer service! No matter what you order, be sure to get a side of enchiladas even if you’re there for breakfast! And there fajita panchos/nachos are terrific and are so well-served, two could definitely eat. Mexican Caldos for those chilly days ahead.

I ordered the enchiladas, beans, and beef tacos with a sweet tea, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors tasted fresh and homemade. The staff were very friendly and the cozy, warm atmosphere made the meal even better. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to, highly recommended! ✨

Can’t believe I’ve never written a review— Las Vegas chicken enchiladas is probably my favorite plate of food in the world. I grew up in Harlingen, but have since moved to Austin and every time I visit it is a non-negotiable.
The refried beans are the absolute greatest on earth, the cheese is amazing. Tortillas they serve on the side are fluffy and delicious. Truly I love this place so much.

We found the “Las Vegas Cafe” online. The food here was excellent! The refried beans were some of the best I’ve had. Rice was great and the Enchiladas were awesome! The waitress brought flour tortillas and salsa both were very good the salsa had a little warmth to them but the flavor got to shine. Our waitress was very nice, prompt, and attentive. The restaurant was clean and inviting. Very well done! We will be back.
