First Impression – We walked in and the host had literally just stepped away to seat someone, but that didn’t stop the customer service received from a man looking out from the kitchen area. He warmly greeted us with a smile and told us someone will be back to help us soon✅
Second Impression – The host comes back with a smile and a mask on and apologizes for us waiting and immediately seats us and asks if she can get us anything to drink while we wait on our waitress.✅
Third Impression – We waited about 5/6 min before our waitress came and introduced herself with a smile and asked if we were ready to order. Now some people dining in would probably find that wait ridiculous, but WE personally were just fine with this! Why? Because when I first sit down and you hand me a menu, I don’t want to feel like I’m being rushed to order in your restaurant for the first time ♀️✅
KUDOS to Christine!!! She was a sweet waitress! She took our order and it was brought out about 15 min later by who appeared to be a kitchen manager, and he was very nice too!
Fourth and FINAL Impression – I ordered the cream cheese stuffed french toast covered in strawberries and blueberries, bacon, scrambled eggs, and a side of roasted potatoes. My husband ordered the bacon, ham, and sausage omelette with toast. You’ll see it all in the video and pictures.
The cream cheese filling in the french toast was supposed to be infused with orange marmalade, and it was, during the last 3 bites of my food. The rest of the filling was extremely bland and the only thing that made the french toast good was the sweet parts of the fruit on top. But honestly, this was a perfect dish for someone with diabetes or who is just not big on sugar. The bacon and eggs were PERFECT and so were the potatoes! You just have to season the eggs and potatoes to your liking.
My husband didn’t like his omelette at all. He said it was flavorless, eggs were hard, and the meat was stale. Almost giving it the taste of it being steamed dry. ♀️
Overall verdict….I would come back and try something new, but he wouldn’t.
3/5 stars for the food isn’t too bad, but we have had better quality food for the price at other restaurants in town.
4/5 overall. We appreciated the customer service more than anything!!
The accompanying potatoes were a bit overwhelming with the bell peppers and onion addition and felt unnecessary, overshadowing the rest of the plate. On the beverage side, the caramel latte was disappointing; it lacked the depth of flavor I anticipated.
On a brighter note, my friend loved her ham and cheese crepe with potatoes, which suggests there are worthwhile options on the menu. Overall, while the experience was just okay, the ability to enjoy breakfast at any hour is a major highlight.
