If you’re looking for a hidden waterfront gem in Anne Arundel County, The Point Crab House & Grill in Arnold, Maryland is definitely worth the visit. The restaurant is tucked away right on the water, creating a relaxed and scenic atmosphere that immediately sets the tone for a great experience.
The ambiance on Sunday around 12:30pm is fantastic—they had great music playing, a lively but comfortable crowd, and beautiful waterfront views that make it the perfect place to unwind. It truly feels like one of those local spots you’re happy you discovered.
Although they werent serving any crab cakes today due to the current weather conditions, the overall food, drinks, and service were all pretty good. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared, and the drinks paired perfectly with the laid-back vibe of the restaurant. Sitting by the water while enjoying good music and great food made the whole experience even better.
Overall, this place is a great tucked-away gem for anyone who enjoys good seafood, drinks, and a relaxing waterfront setting. I’ll definitely be coming back to try the crab cake but will call first to make sure they have them.

Good service and ambiance. Food is excellent but was not as good as it was last time. Probably because the crabs are not in season, but it may have just been less than amazing crab dish. I came for my birthday. The point has traditionally been a 10/10 on crab cakes, usually the best in the world. This time the crab cakes were only 9.2/10, which for the money, you expect more. Jumbo lump crab dip needed more crab but had incredible taste. I will definitely give the point another shot. Traditionally the crab cakes are unbelievable and I will give it another chance. Cheers!

It’s a very relaxing spot to have a bit. It’s waterfront so you can see all the boats in the marina. The staff was friendly and attentive. The seafood is so fresh and plentiful. The crab soup was robust and flavorful. The fish and chips was light, airy and the fish was cooked perfectly. The crab cakes had a good ratio of crab and stuffing. I am glad I got to come and enjoy this restaurant.

First of all I want to shoutout the service: our waitress Jessie really kind and patient with us especially since we had my 90 year old grandmother with us. The setting is wonderful with a nice view of the boats in the marina and the open air restaurant means you get fresh air the whole time you eat. We started with fries and the mussels came with a sauce so good we asked for extra bread multiple times to continue dipping. We share a dozen large crabs and got a crab cake for my grandma which she loved. All in all a fantastic experience!

Crab dip- What in the world… one of the worst I’ve ever had.
Looked good visually but something tasted awful, maybe old? It was also way too creamy, very little crab which I could’ve look past if the flavor was okay. We told the waitress and she didn’t take it off the check which was weird.
^ A bit dramatic but I’m a Maryland native and I have too much state pride to be chill about a waterfront MD seafood joint serving awful crab dip.

Delightful afternoon lunch consisting of a soft shell crab sandwich with slaw and ahi tuna tacos that had a perfect sauce w fries. The service was amazing, the view and the breeze off the water all combined to make us linger. Definitely will be returning soon!

Our server was amazing i think her name was ah man!! Can’t remember she had a star tattoo on her thumb and she was exactly that a star! Food was was amazing i had the crab cake wife had the fish tacos, shrimp and you must try THE jalapeno CORN BREAD! … The only issue i have are the portions for the price, doesn’t match. kind of small but overall nice places nice people

We ordered the large-size crab, but it was smaller than the medium size I’ve had at other places. The extra-large wasn’t available in the morning or afternoon. You can order a dozen or a half dozen.

Been coming here for years. It’s definitely a hidden local gym. The food is fabulous and locally sourced. Desserts are to die for. Service is friendly and energetic. They updated their seating areas and now is even better. Highly recommend!
