One of my long-time best friends recommended this place to me long ago, and I really had never been to Ellerbe properly before, so this was the first time for me on two different counts!
It was definitely on the small side inside, but weirdly enough. As a 2000’s kid, it felt oddly nostalgic with the old school gumball machines inside. The atmosphere felt pretty good, and there was a fish tank inside, even though I didn’t see any fish or any aquatic creatures inside. There was also a television that was screening some sort of MTV style channel.
Upon the employee’s recommendation, I ordered the Super Sub but I also treated myself and got a Philly Cheesesteak Egg Roll, a Crab Rangoon Roll, and five Fried Shrimp Rolls.
Cheesesteak inside of an egg roll? A rather inventive idea and I rather enjoyed it!
Also on the menu are items relating to pizza, burgers, and even Chinese food. Me being me, I’ll have to check out the other locations….

Everyone, this is a very small town. FYI this is where Andre The Giant bought his home in the US. It reminded him of his homeland, France. All our food was very good. I had teriyaki chicken, the kids had a pepperoni pizza and my wife had a bacon double cheeseburger with fries. We definitely recommend the place. It doesn’t see many people but everyone eating there was very friendly. The restaurant owners and workers were also very friendly.

This place is wonderful. You can tell they take pride in what they do here, it was super clean, the staff was very friendly and the calming music they played was a plus. The pizza was very good and affordable, as was the chicken tenders and fries. When we go thru Ellerbe we will be stopping here more often.

Okay not a derogatory remark but it’s kind of a hole in the wall you wouldn’t think that it had good food but surprisingly it had very good food and very good service it’s very small but the atmosphere is good and if you’re in the small town stop and try it I suggest that you would really like it

Great little local place. Stopped in and was greeted by a warm, friendly staff. The place is small but clean, and the service is excellent. My double bacon cheeseburger with fries was amazing. Will definitely stop again when passing through.

Great local place. Both the pizza and the steak and cheese sub were great. Customer service was fantastic. Nice little vibe in there. I see a lot of complaints about the limited parking area, and wanted to add that there is ample parking behind the building.

The five stars are a combination of things, delicious pizza and over-the-top phenomenal customer service. Although, honestly, both deserve five stars on their own.
We were visiting the Ellerbe area, and we happened upon Mama Nois while looking for a different restaurant. The tall brunette woman manning the counter at dinner time mentioned that the pizza in her place was excellent, perhaps better than the place that we were looking for, so we tried it. She was not wrong, this pizza is phenomenal, the dough is expertly made, pristinely prepared and perfectly cooked.
Her customer service was impeccable, her interaction with our children was an effortless master class in grace and tact. What the business owner did in a past life to be blessed with the darmic reward of an employee such as this…. He must have been a prophet or a saint.
In short, we ate here two more times in a space of just a couple of weeks. We called one time to order in advance, and she remembered us and remembered how many kids we had.
All I can say is, this woman most likely deserves an immediate raise, stock options and should be made the regional trainer for all restaurant employees. When you have three hungry kids, stumble into a strange restaurant, leave with an impactful experience like this, you are dealing with someone who has both talent and skill.
But seriously though, she really is a customer service expert.

Definitely recommend this if you’re in the area. The food was pretty good. I got the steak and cheese sub and bacon cheese fries. The fries were very tasty but the steak sub was a little lacking on how much steak was in it. Also my friend ordered the same thing as me with only steak and cheese and they gave him one with everything on it. Also the order took almost 20 minutes to get our food. As there are very limited options in the area I would say this is probably the best but I would definitely call ahead if you can and check your order if you are a picky eater.
