Visiting my college son from California is always tricky because he really misses authentic Korean food. After trying many Americanized Korean restaurants, Katsu City was the perfect remedy for his homesickness. They’ve recently added sushi to the menu, so we also tried the California rolls. Everything was authentic, fresh, and delicious. We’ll definitely be back every time we’re in town!

I finally had a truly great tonkatsu here. Every single dish I ordered was a hit, everything was incredibly delicious.
The owner was very kind and welcoming, and the restaurant itself was spotless. It looks like it was recently remodeled because everything felt clean, modern, and comfortable. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. I will definitely be back.

Went there and had delicious curry katsu and sushi and a yummy mango smoothie. Devoured our delicious food before I thought to take a photo of it. They kindly gave me a miso soup even though my sushi doesn’t normally come with it because my husband’s meal came with one. Super friendly family who were very attentive to our needs. Freshly redesigned interior. Highly recommend.

10/10 – the best Katsu place you can find in Utah. I always get the tenderloin Katsu – the meat is insanely soft with that perfect golden crunch on the outside. My wife loves their cheese Katsu too. I tried their fried shrimp for the first time today and completely exceeded my expectations. It is so crispy and so flavorful- perfectly cooked.

Wow… I cannot express how great the food is. Truly a taste of Korean food! The food is on par with food straight from Korea. I would highly reccomend their Cheese Katsu! The melted cheese along with the crunchy pork!! Will be coming again for more!
