Thai Gourmet Kitchen has taken over a family business from Kombo Kitchen starting 2024. We have been serving great Thai food around Tampa Bay area since 2012 in various locations previously. We had Thai Gourmet Market on Memorial Hwy., of which, we are still operating via food truck all around Tampa Bay, St. Pete Morning Market, and all the way down in Lakewood Ranch area. We also had Noodle Kitchen on South Howard. We, Chef Petta, and team are very excited to keep on serving great Thai food in this area. We make our food with absolutely no MSG!!! We do not use ingredients that contains MSG. We rely on local ingredients and use no refined sugar to create our wonderful dishes.

Yummy! My favorite part was the toppings and presentation. Pad Thai had bean sprouts, green onion, and peanuts. So many places forget the peanuts! Thai basil chicken was also delish and had sliced cucumbers on the side—just like Thailand.

I didn’t feel like cooking, & needed to feed my family of 4. I was looking for something NEW to try. I was tired of the same old places. I read the reviews, and WOW— so glad I tried jt!!!!!!! My entire family of 4 loved it! ***The flavors were incredible!***. I could taste that every dish we made with LOVE! The owner was there, and he was very kind.
I highly recommend the Thai basil fried rice with chicken, curry, vegetable roll, and potstickers. (One note: I asked for all dishes mild and 1 dish medium. Since the food is truly authentic, we found even the mild to be a bit spicy, so if you don’t like spicy, be sure to ask about that!). We love spicy, so it was no issue for us, but I did wonder if perhaps they made all of our food ‘medium’? Not sure? Either way, it was excellent!! Highly recommend! Don’t look any further, and go see them! ☘️

Decided to try this newer spot for pickup and we will definitely be back! There were cute little picnic tables to eat right there and almost all were taken…Ordered the chicken pad thai and also got to sample the spring rolls and dumplings. Everything was fresh and yummy. Great value and quality ingredients.

First impression was the service on the phone, kind and accommodating. Next we picked up our food, and the owner was so gracious and lovely in person as well! The food was ready really fast, which was awesome. The drive home was an exercise in torture, as our dinners smelled incredible! And the taste was out of this world! My friend loved her Tom Yum, saying the flavor was bright and fresh. I had the Thai basil fried rice with chicken, which I can see becoming my super-addictive go-to. We also split the vegetarian spring rolls, which were delicate and delightful. I will most definitely be back and will bring more friends along!

First discovered Thai Gourmet at a weekend market in Hyde Park. It’s the best Thai in Tampa, in my opinion. The Pad Thai is a standout: on the dryer side (as it should be), very flavorful and clearly thoughtfully made with high quality ingredients – also nice they will make it as spicy at you want; Thai Hot is legitimately Thai hot, which is hard to find in my experience. My wife and I have also ordered the drunken noodles, dumplings, and the mango sticky rice on many occasions – all great. Place is definitely worth a try if you like Thai food. Note – the shop itself is quite small – we’ve always ordered take-out.

I tried Thai Gourmet Kitchen for the first time, and I got 2 orders of the drunken noodles with chicken as my protein with one as a hot spice level and the other mild. The food was super delicious. You could taste the basil. The veggies were cooked to the perfect texture for me, and the noodles were nice and chewy just how I like them. Service was quick, and the guy taking orders was super friendly. I will say, however, the hot spice level is a different kind of hot, and I love spicy, but it was too hot for me. Next time, I’ll definitely stick with a medium spice level. My lips and tongue were burning while eating my meal. Overall, I will be returning to try some other things off the menu.

This is a carry out order only but I ordered the Drunken noodle medium. Hotness is hotter than standard Thai restaurants.
Wife had the Red Curry with Tofu. She is a picky eater but loved loved it.
