We hadn’t been year for a long time. In the area and we wanted some ice cream.
The store wasn’t crowded and they had a lot of great items to look over, there was a deli in here and some tables set up too. The multiple outside window lines for ice cream moved quickly. The small is a generous small, there’s a chart to see scoops per size.
We sat under the trees at picnic table, there is a tented area near the food order windows.
There are port a potties but there is also indoor bathrooms too.
If you’re in the area visiting we’d recommended stopping in.
We’ll need to try the seafood or deli another time.

This is a place that I can get on board with when supporting local! Fast and efficient, even when they’re busy. Food was tasting and fresh!

Cool outdoor space and indoor space with a shop as well.

I rate a 5 for the ice-cream. It’s delicious! The facility is very inviting with good design and more than enough parking. Although, I am disappointed at how people have to navigate on which line to choose when there is no formal line formation. People tend to get ancy and impatient. I would hope an entrance with rope banisters or delineators could be present for single line formation. Where people get served as they come and get called to next available windows when appropriate. I am sure I am not the only customer that has noticed this to be a slight issue

Great place to stop! The ice cream stand has so many flavors and the food station serves up really good seafood. Fridays in the summer are awesome with the classic car shows such a fun atmosphere. Perfect spot for good food, ice cream, and a nice night out!

Best double cheeseburger with bacon, hands down. Absolute monster, and cooked perfect every time. The lobster roll is gigantic. Perfect Mayo. Chopped celery. Toasted roll. Ton of lobster. What it should be. And the ice cream. It’s all great, but their pistachio is the best you will find. I’m the warmer months, they have the cruise nights. Every Friday night, the coolest cars, music, raffles, and trivia. If you go once, you’ll go again. Awesome place

Excellent customer service! Excellent seafood! Absolutely delicious ice cream! It’s a must every year! Great place for families! One of our favorite places in the area and the ambiance is wonderful. Love the fish and chips, clam chowder, fried calamari and of course the ice cream (any flavor). Both locations are fantastic!

This place was amazing and that’s an understatement! I am from Florida and was visiting Massachusetts because 20 yrs earlier, I had to report her as missing. Long story short, she was found! Cherry on top, I went to MA to be reunited with her this weekend and my friend who’s from there asked if I wanted Ice cream. So this is where we went. The lines are long but goes so fast and there are so many choices. They make their ice cream home made and you can even buy it by the pint, 1/2 gallon or gallon. They also have everything from a banana split to a frappe. That’s not all! They have a country store that has homemade molasses, they have different kinds of honey, souvenirs and more.
They are also a restaurant, with a great menu. I suggest the lobster roll hot. There is plenty of seating everywhere or you can just park on the side and play corn hole. Very family oriented and well worth the wait and money. I’d give this place 10 stars.

Kimball Farm, my beloved–I genuinely miss you every time winter rolls around!

This location in northern Lancaster is a short detour off Route 2. Heading down Lunenburg Rd, you’ll easily spot a wide entrance right across from Dunkin’ Donuts. Parking is straightforward, with extra lots opened during busy days.

Dining is set beneath a large tent that protects from rain and intense sun, but if you prefer sunshine, there are tables that sit just outside the tent. There’s also seating on the grassy area, pleasantly shaded by trees.

You place order at the window and pay up-front, and then you wait around for your number to be called. So make sure you’re still paying attention if you’re listening to music or having a conversation. Condiments, utensils, and napkins are all self-serve, along with the beverage dispensers.

Kimball Farm introduced me to fried seafood plates, and it remains my favorite spot. I’m utterly addicted to their fried scallops–perfectly golden and flavorful–and the crispy, juicy whole belly clams. Seafood is available either as a fried plate (served with fries and coleslaw) or as “sides” in half-pint or pint portions.

Prices here aren’t cheap–I usually spend around $40-$50–but the quality, freshness, and generous portions make it entirely worth it.

If you’re not too stuffed after finishing your meal, Kimball Farm also serves fantastic ice cream. I highly recommend the Coffee Oreo, but honestly, there’s no wrong choice here. Just keep in mind their portions start from “mini” and quickly get larger–don’t be surprised if even a “small” is more ice cream than your stomach can handle!

Always a great stop! Don’t be dismayed by the long lines especially during the heat of the summer. The size of the cones and dishes are well worth the wait. The seafood platters also have huge portions—the scallops and whole belly clams are delicious when you can’t get to the coast. There’s a cute and quaint country store with local merchandise including honeys, jams and candies. Perfect fun for the family.
